Vault 47, a chance to live in the comforts of our American way of life, even if the Reds ruin it for us. Fitted with the most sophisticated virtual reality simulation work known to man in 2077, Vault 47's simulation allows its residents to live in a utopic Chicago, where the radio always has a lovely tune or friendly voice telling you the weather or reading the traffic report. It feels just like a real world, except everything will always go right for you (provided you obey the laws and obey Mayor Overseer of course! ) as you live your life safe and snug as a bug inside Vault-Tec Vault 47!
When the warning came that fateful Saturday on October 23, 2077, the assigned residents quickly converged on their Vault, located a couple miles south of Chicago's limits. For a short time, residents lived and settled in Vault 47 until the Overseer announced it was time for everyone to enter the simulation pods. Today is Sunday, May 15, 2082 and it has been five years since you sat in your pod and now you've been awoken, the sound of klaxon alarms in the air. Initially muffled, the sound is louder once the pod lid pulls back and the Robobrain caretakers calmly direct you to the Atrium, where the Overseer has an emergency announcement for all citizens of Vault 47. Whatever the announcement, one thing can be certain, it's not a part of the future promised to you by Vault Tec.
OOC: For interested Role-Players, please make your way http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1488090-role-play-in-the-works-any-interest-takers/ if you would like to be a part of the RP.
Rules:
2. If any disagreements arise amongst players, I reserve the right to lay final judgement to settle the dispute. (As well as any Co-GM should I find one I'm confident can help keep the story in tow with the direction of the storyline.
3. I may at times invoke a moment of 'Character Death'. If this is done, your character will be dead in the 'troubled world' sim and will reawaken in the tranquility/utopia sim in their bed as if it was a nightmare. (I'll go into greater detail what happened when the story gets to that point.)
4. While not a rule, try to keep [censored] blocks out of your posts as much as possible. I'm fine with cursing, but a lot of [censored] spots in a post really ruins the immersion of the story. (Imagine trying to read a book that way!)
5. Have fun, I know I seem boring, well that's because I am. However, my rules aren't to hamper fun, just to help have fun but also help keep the story on the ultimate endgame of the story I have in mind, as well as relatively lore friendly content. (No iPods and such)
