Future of Tamriel(the NEXT BIG EVENTS) - predictions.

Agreed.

Valenwood with the Altmer pact could be an ally to the new Empire (with the trade and what not). Or Argonia and Elswyer taking over Morrowind.

Just saying...

The altmer don't really like humanity (or anyone not altmer in reality). If they're trying to bring back the Aldmeri Domain, expect the altmer to not even be remotely friendly with humans, and "tolerate" (as in they won't kill you) anyone else.

Also, Elswyer is currently under the law of anarchy, save for cities which are ruled dictatorially (the Mane was freaking assassinated!). As for Black Marsh, they've only settled on southern Morrowind, most likely deputed territory.

And unless I'm wrong, I thought there were insurgents from Valenwood doing a bunch of hit-and-run fighting in Cyrodiil.

What the hell do you think happens if a dead god returns to his land?

Hopefully a whole lot of dead mer.

Cannibalistic Bosmer take over most of Tamriel, forcing everyone into slave cages for feasting, until the continent of Akavir steps in to start an all out war between the two continents.

That is what I see happening.

And the Adoring Fan uses necromancy to extend his life and become Overlord of Tamriel.

in short, the main plot will involve (most likely) Akaviri invasion- last mission-- you trod your way up the steps of the Akavir temple, wondering what their leader will look like when he is slain-- you see the hooded figure, and he pulls down the hood. OH NOES! *off stage-"by azura by azura by azura!" your nemesis THE ADORING FAN lives! and he has somehow captured a mighty kingdom! you then lead him on a chase that ends at dive rock, and as he says "BY Az- you thwank an arrow into his dome, sending him tumblin down.

And there can be songs and dancing....

But on a serious note, I don't think having Akaviri attacks is a viable option. Maybe having them come up 2 or 3 times would be cool, but not a constant theme.

I'm willing to bet that no future TES game (assuming Bethesda is even working on one) will include dwarves or Akaviri, thank the gods.

The likeliest scenario for a TES V is an Empire that's reduced to little more than Cyrodiil, and the maneuvering for power among the de facto independent provinces.

Skyrim fighting against Cyrodiil.

With luck that would involve a Nordic/Dunmeri force fighting against the Imperials.

Although, I would dearly love to see the Dunmer retaking Morrowind. However, I don't see that as likely to happen, being as we've already had a game in the Dunmer homeland. However, maybe in the lore around the next game?

I'm praying for my darling Dunmer to make a comeback.

I'd like to see some kind of war going on, with political backstabbing and large-scale battles and such. I do think it's a likely route Bethesda might take, seeing how Tamriel is in a state of disarray. I think it would work well. It did for Daggerfall.

As far as an Akiviri invasion, I'm not so sure that would work too well. It would be such a huge gameplay change adding such weird races to the game, even if they weren't playable races.
But, I think an Aleyeid reemergence/invasion would work, it wouldn't be that drastic of a change.

800 years into the 4E, the Adoring Fan is reincarnated into an even more annoying form. He takes over both Mundus and Oblivion, forcing Sheogorath (CoC) and Nerevarine to team up and kill this true Horror of Dive Rock once and for all.

Lorkhan's return. I'd like to see what would happen.

Conversely, the Altmer unraveling all time and existence is just as exciting.

i think the provinces would all be doing different things. and alot would be going on. i have been thinking on it. and i will start with one part. the telvannis. i think divath fyr will have cured the last dwemer. and after the fall of dagoth ur. corpus disappeared. so he started studies in another direction. in his studies he discovered the weakening of vivecs power on that rock. so he got his daughters and all off to port telvannis. and convinced some of the telvanni to help him and the last dwemer prepare. they built new dwemer bunkers and started excavating down toward the other ruins. when the moon finally gave in and destroyed vivec. forwarned by wizards stationed for that. they got all they could into shelter. and stayed down through the wars after. and while down there he convinced all the remaining telvanni to work together in their studies. resulting in all new levels of telvanni wizardly might. they dug to and quietly renovated several dwemer ruins around telvannis. and at the same time the worked on techniques to make fast growing self defending towers. and better higher enchantable armor mixing chitin and daedric styles together. made new large self portable weapons mixing dwemer and telvanni techniques. then after almost 200 years. in one night telvanni emerged. new towers sprang up over the land. and telvanni forces poured out of dwemer sites. all the upper telvanni lands were reclaimed in one fiery night. and that same night the high wizards of telvanni appeared before the argonian leaders and said. we have taken half of our lands back. hand over the rest of telvanni and we will free the survivors to you. otherwise we will take the rest and enslave you forever. and to prove their point they summoned a large daedric army with the help of mephala. and gave them 2 days to decide. with argonia being isolationist and no other province willing to cross that kind of power. telvanni got back their land. and no argonian in their right mind goes within a days march of them.

will think on other provinces later. like the altmer and falmer fighting and such

Personally, I like Warhammer's version of magic. You can do complete wonders, but the following may happen too:
1) Your head will literally explode
2) You die
3) A demon ends up possessing you
4) You succeed.
