Future Updates and DLC

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 4:51 am

I have pretty much done just about everything one can do in Skyrim and am left with wandering around, trying to get past Blood on Ice glitches, and waiting desperately for DLC
  • Anyone have any news about updates or DLC that can give me some hope?

While I certainly don't want them to rush anything or release anything that feels unfinished, I do admit that I'd at least like some sort of teaser so that at least I'll have an idea what I'm looking forward to.

If not a teaser at least gimme a patch so i can finish what little stuff i have left and i did make 2 or 3 new characters but its annoying to have to level up smithing and [censored] again plus its not as much fun as my first one

il tell you what i told everyone else who asked for dlc news. think about it if there was even a shred of evidence about dlc it would be spread all over these forums at an astonishing rate never underestimate the vigilance of a skyrim forum dweller. if there is any evidence at all it will be swiftly found why just a few days ago there was speculation the first dlc will be called dawnguard.

And to much speculation can lead to unfounded expectations, which in turn can lead to slashed hopes and disappointment. It's not a healthy cycle.

skooma has no idea what he's talking about, since Gstaff and Beth have not even mentioned to anyone anything about their DLC's or expansions. Skooma wants attention is all :)

aye thats true one just needs to read a few threads from pre release to know that but the point still stands this community is very vigilant usually to much for its own good but sometimes true things are found.

Either you be trolling or not reading what Beth posts... The DLC are supposed to have nearly the size of SI and not be the mini DLC they released for Oblivion.

Well, for all I care you could be the danish queen.

The so called DLC for FO3 included Broken Steel/Point Lookout/Mothership Zeta which most certainly weren't garbage (especially Point Lookout was pretty awesome!). The DLC for F:NV included Dead Money, the ones for Mass Effect 2 included Arrival and Lair of the Shadow Broker. The term DLC is a broad one nowadays and is also used for things which can't be considered an expansion, but are nearly as big as one.

The worst thing Beth can do right now is release a DLC that was as broken as the main game. I'd be happy to wait and make sure I can play it on my PS3.

Deus Ex missing link was better than the whole main game.
