What I don't understand is that Vicec's sermons stated it wouldn't come crashing down. I asked the question several months ago: When the Ghostgate falls and the Tribunal's power recede with the destruction of Lorkhan's heart, wouldnt the MoT come falling down?
Answer: It wouldn't because of the love of the Dunmer for Vivec
Here's one answer:
No. http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/lessons.shtml#33 http://www.imperial-library.info/obscure_text/5th_era_loveletter.shtml
Vivec says:
'I would have done so myself if I wanted, silly Hortator. I shall keep it there with its last intention intact, so that if the love of the people of this city for me ever disappear, so shall the power that holds back their destruction.'
So, does the "Loveletter" that is now considered lore, shove aside the known lore (Lord Vicec' sermons?)
I am aware Beth's lorebuff who has mainly written MW's lore also wrote the "Love letter" but to me it seems contradictive.
Unless ofcourse, the Dunmer stopped loving Vicec all of a sudden. (hmm, did I hit a nail here?)Even though I appreciate's Beths daring, I can't say I'm happy about Vvardenfell being blown up so maybe I am looking at things that aren't relevant at all but I'm confused.
