Futuristic Alien Enemy

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 7:30 am

What about making new enemies in the next TES is a futuristic alien that visit Tamriel to conquer it. They come with big UFO like in Independence Day with higher technology than all races. The player must face them with swords and magic.

So it will be sword and magic vs science.

The story can be made that Tamriel already fall to the alien, the player is in alien prison and manage to break away....then manage to unite all races to face the aliens...

Only when this [censored] comes true we'll realize the "Have you seen my father" story is Pulitzer material.

The villain should be an Earth clan human (cpt Shepard) caught in the Area 51 (the core of Black Marsh) trying to convert the locals to Reaperism...

The only idea I can think of that could possibly better would be to replace all NPCs with care bears played by Gilbert Gottfried.

And so the world ended as the tortured masses killed themselves to the sound of screeching care bears...I think a Gottfried Care Bears Thu'umics would trump any dragon's even Alduin's Thu'um. Hard to hold an argument when your ears start bleeding from all that screeching.

But there was one they fear,
In their tongue he was called Oiiiiveey!!! Jewborn!!!

No thanks. Would love to see the Akaviri introduced in the games though, so maybe they can be your 'aliens'? They are after all from another continent and would be immigrants. Then add invasion plans to their motive and then you have illegial immigrants, or aliens as one also could call them.

What about making new enemies in the next TES is a futuristic alien extramundrial invader that visit Tamriel to conquer destroy it. They come with big UFO portals like in Independence Day Stargate with higher technology than all races immortality. The player must face them with swords and magic.

They already made that one; did you not play Oblivion?

Vehkship? Sunbirds? Cyrus's sword-meeting of Tiber Septim on the moon? KIMMUNE? Glyphdisks? Dreamsleeve? These kinds of futuristic things already exist in the lore. The original topic could work if we put in one of these things (war against KIMMUNE would be pretty sweet, assuming she's a kalpa-leftover or not the Eye of Magnus).

UFOs? Aliens? NO!

Bethesda already [censored] Fallout with Mothership Zeta, leave TES alone!

Excuse me:

Technically not. MK's external work, while very important and interesting, is not official lore.

Actually all those were stated in Battlespire which is officially lore, its just lore that is never brought up in any other games or books, but its still lore nonetheless.

Aliens were in Fallout 2, but were non-canon.

It's all about the spice. Battlespire and Sunbirds and Mananauts (all official!) work because they're framed as TES - saying calling them aliens and UFOs is too real world or too sci-fi to mash.

There is a theory saying that the gods human worship in the past are actually aliens. If we observe the statues, carvings, even cave drawings they all look like beings from outer space. most of figurines, statues and drawing of the gods ancient people worship have big eyes, tentacles, many hands and legs, look like reptilian, coming from the sky with some devices....maybe aliens did come to earth in ancient time and human worship them.

So with similar idea, why not merge it in TES?

TES have Argonians and Khajit why not add alien race?

I don't know how this hasn't been mentioned already, but there are already aliens in The Elder Scrolls and we see them all the time. They're called Daedra.
