FWE compatible weapon packs

Are there any weapon mods compatible with FWE. I'd like addional guns to my FWE game.

I have xCALIBR munitions shop and WMK

You can't use non-optimized custom weapon mods with FWE? Not even the ones that just add 1 or 2 guns?

You can use weaponpacks with FWE sure(just no weapon overhauls like CFWR). But it's better if there are specially designed FWE versions or patches, otherwise the stats like damage and spread could feel a bit off compared to other FWE weaponry.

And like I said in the mainthread, we're adding several new weapons to FWE in 5.1
But FWE has with all DLCs and the WMK variants almost a thousand weapons entries just fyi

Thanks for clearing that up. I just wanted to be sure that FWE wouldn't conflict with the Yellowboy rifle mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2941

I like the lever action rifles a lot, was kind of disappointed that vanilla FO3 had only the Lincoln Repeater to offer since you don't get it until much later. Just curious, what mods are you looking at to add weapons in from? I thought the only new guns in FWE were from CFW.

Most weapon mods are compatible, it's just that some aren't optimized for FWE's settings, so they end up being nerfed or overpowered. A couple minutes in the GECK should be able to fix those problems though :user:

Is Xcalibr already optimized for FWE?

There's a newer version of it. CFW revised. Sadly, it's nowhere near as compatible as the old one.

FWE has CFW integrated, but we've also added additional guns outside those from CFW

And in the next version we will also add some additional weapons from CFW Revised that we feel could fit into the arsenal.

I've made a patch for Zealotee's Adaptive Combat Rifle, I've also submitted patches for his MP5 pack and his SVD Dragonov.

I like these particular mods because they can be found in leveled lists via script, ensuring compatibility with FWE. They're also high quality models in themselves. That's what I look for if I want to add a potential gun to my load order, and thus create a patch.
