I make icons... yeah.

T3T: You're awesome too man. You've made a heck of a lot of icons which are all very high qualitity and you made a lot of them on request by a lot of whiners like me. So, your work is appreciated man :)

For some reason, any time the screen is supposed to be blurry (sprinting), the screen is ridiculously blurry to the point that I can't make out what I'm looking at. I'll try to get a screenshot of it, but any idea what could cause this?

I doubt you have mod conflict. May be something wrong with video drivers?

Let the headaches commence. Updating my drivers solved the blur problem, but now I have a black bar at the right side of my screen and parts of the UI are going off of the screen. I suppose I should make a thread in the PC issues forum.

It Is possible. After new driver installing, monitor settings can be broken and the picture shifted to the side.
Try to reset monitor settings with button on monitor, or use driver control panel to adjust position of the picture

I only have that bar in-game, it's perfectly fine right now, for instance.

It depends from resolution in the game and at the worktable.
If this resolutions are the same- then it is strange. If not the same- this is possible, try my advice in this case

Checked the game settings and the resolutions were different. Fixed it, everything works fine. Thanks for the help.

Hi everybody, I'm trying to install FWE using the FOMM.

Please help me...

I've used to to set up Calibr, Craft, FOSE, but when I add the latest 4.1 zip file FWE to the list it gives me a pop up saying it needs additional script.

Will it be able to get the subfolders, etc. extracted correctly, or is there something else I should be doing?

Thanks for you help!

Hi,

I just got back to F3 and just had to try this mod. It's awesowe and it works fine for me together with all DLC's, Weapon mods, Fellout and MMM.

That being said... is there a recommended difficulty setting for FWE? I haven't found anything in all the supplied docs and there are practically hundreds of pages and posts for FWE, which I cannot read, as I'm a working man and a father of a family;) Can someone help me here? What is the best experience? I noticed Medium is quite easy, at least at the beginning - i kill super mutants in 4 shots from 10mmm pistol. I think its fine and realistic, but does it get harder later on? If I change it to Hard will that mess up the balance intended by this mod?

If you receive this message during assets installing with help of Package manager- you can ignore it. Manager periodically give this message by mistake.

FWE's optional ESP's are in a subfolder and FOMM can't predict how they're supposed to be installed without an install script. Don't worry about it, but be aware that you will have to manually move the optional ESP's to the data folder and activate them.
I believe 5.0 will have a more advanced script, and it should come out sometime this weekend if I've read the developers' hints correctly. :)

FWE is balanced around Normal difficulty, but if that's too easy you can just go ahead and turn it up.

You are right, FWE was developed with Normal difficulty in mind. But there will be nothing wrong if you change game to Hard. See it yourself.
In the new version, which will be released soon, there will be no need in difficulty's change, cos you will be able to adjust all game's aspects to your liking, including combat

My suggestion right now would be to wait until the end of the week before downloading...

Will the compatibility patches for getting FWE to work with the other popular mods (WMK, EVE, MMM, FOOK, PB) also come out at the same time?

Yes to all of the above except FOOK. FOOK is about to be updated as well, and the whole CP needs to be re-built to be honest.

EDIT: It's quite an undertaking.

Despite my decision to wait for 5.0 version I decided to install current FWE 4.1.1 with mods of my choosing. Is this loading order okey or it needs any tweaking?

Having some issues with the primary needs not working after I turned if off (primary needs) for operation anchorage. It was working perfectly well before I turned it off, but now the perks don't show up, but the scripts run telling me i'm thirsty/hungry.... no penalties though.

Is this common?

What perks do you mean?
And yes disabling PN didnt work 100% properly in some cases. This will be fixed as of 5.0.

By the way, as of 5.0 you also dont have to disable it anymore for Operation Anchorage, the health kits automatically fill up your entire hunger/thirst/sleep
I basically rewrote much of the Primary Needs scripts from ground up. You require much less food/sleep/drink and they are perfectly stable now, similar to Simple Needs, but with still all the advanced features from Primary Needs.

Suffice to say, 5.0 is the biggest release since the initial release of FWE.

Ya, sorry no perks there. Just the penalties are not showing up on the status tab in the pip-boy.

Is there anyway to get the penalties working, is there something I can put into the console to make the script work again?

Wow, i can't wait for the 5.0. I guess i'll have to play through once again.... not that i'm complaining, FWE makes the game better then any other.

Just zse the PN config tool and reset Primary Needs in its menu.

how hard is it going to be to go from current version to 5.0?

I just got GOTY but I have been so busy that I only got to play a little bit of the pitt.

FWE is great, but some times ++ spawns can be a pain, but thats what makes it so fun, if annoying, the challenge.
