Quick question, is it intended that Deputy Weld has a chance of being blown up :lmao: ? I was walking to megaton and he got attacked by a raider...was a sight to see, that is for sure :D

Of course he has a chance to blow up :) He got in the middle of the BoS and some traders arguing about Aqua Pure and was annihilated by the BoS in one of my games.

I attacked him at one point while testing a weapon (junk game) and the Sheriff ran out to defend him. Unfortunately for him, the sheriff stood right next to Deputy Weld's "corpse" while attacking me and got blown to pieces when Weld blew up.

And I admit, I looked into the "Reservist's Rifle" rifle notion, but for the life of me I couldn't actually find what you were referring to. It got lost in the shuffle and I never followed up on it. Can you point me towards a file that actually uses the weapon/model you're talking about? Was it part of an old T3T Weapon Tweakes version before the "drifter's laser rifle?" Can you point me towards the original mod on nexus? I'd be happy to add it in, but I don't know what it is. :(

So you're referring to the reservists rifle that was the unique sniper rifle in the original unmodded game? It didn't have any custom models/textures/meshes or anything though correct? Just has a faster fire rate, smaller clip, but higher durabiltiy than normal sniper?

How about we give it a custom mesh too? I've been looking for an excuse to add an http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3759 into the game :)

As I remember, old reservist rifle had very useful knockdown effect

Err... I thinked this is from EVE, no? All robots can blow-up, but not with Nuke effect :)

The Victory rifle has the knockdown effect, which is still in place in FWE (although new model/texture)

I'm getting the level up crash when the FWE anchorage patch is active.

I've tested with everything after FWE in my load order deactivated, and only FWE anchorage disabled, which works fine. When I enable Anchorage, the game freezes on clicking 'done' in the level up dialogue...

Can you make a savegame with only FWE activated where you're getting the levelup crashes and post it (rapidshare) so we can try your savegame and see what might be wrong.

The original indeed. If i remeber correctly it had smaller clip and higher crtitcal change and damage compared to standard and Victory Rifle. And yes, the game is missing a "Chinese Sniper Rifle" :D I've used that Zealotlee's mod exactly for that purpose.

Don't have issues here, probably- MMM upgrade fault

PS I continue my game from FWE 5.04 and MMM RC5

Perhaps, I cleansaved and upgraded MMM before installing FWE but I'll wait a few days to let everything respawn. Hopefully it'll work.

With FWE crash occur on lvl 17
Without it- on lvl 26
Anchorage uninstalled don't give any results- all the same
So
-bug in BS DLC
-Or Bug in fallout itself
-Or damaged save (most probably)
-Or some strange dependancy between deleted content (OA) and level-up procedure.
I recommend you to begin new game.
I make experiments on my save, I'm already at level 17. I raise my character up to level 30 without issues.
One only difference between us- I don't touch OA for now. I will, and will complete Mama Dolche location as well just now.
Please tell me- at what level you begin OA DLC?

Could you stick a warning on the Grenade add-on file reminding people that it overwrites the DarNUI Config file?

I can see why it does, but when I updated to the new version it never occurred to me to make a copy of the old one and now I have to try to recreate all my HUD settings.

A note in the download description would have helped me.

Found a bunch of the new guns on the way back from Ranger HQ, by the way. Brought all the new ones home to repair and examine.

Don't think I've found that one yet.

You should add a new Alternate Start. Scientist with an armored Radiation Suit and a crowbar.

I started OA at level 4/5. I found a workaround that seems strange to me. I use garybash, and I rebuilt my bashed patch with the FWE OA patch hidden, then unhid the patch and activated it separately and was able to level up no problem.

Make any sense to you?

Don't say we're not working for ya!

FWE 6.01 Hotfix

  • Fixed problem with missing M14 scope mesh.
  • Corrected a problem with the wrong weight setting being set in the Harsher Wasteland preset.
  • Corrected a problem with NPC’s and Supermutant’s not spawning with ammo for certain guns (or having ammo but no gun!).
  • Corrected a problem with the Responsive Kill Reactions “Mode 2” showing the debug colors for enemies.
  • Added new gun entries to the GunList formlist.
  • 7.62mm ammo increased from .03 to .05 weight. It’s supposed to be heavy!
  • Added the original Reservist’s Sniper Rifle back to the game (default mesh for now). HINT: look inside some homes where a sniper hangs out.


FOIP Updates

  • Update EVE FOIP to restore models for laser pistol and plasma pistol (as well as laser rifle). No more weird flashing / pulsing textures.
  • Updated WMK FOIP to correct an issue with auto-fire mechanism not showing up correctly and weapons being re-added at max health.


Patches posted on nexus. FWE package is FOMOD ready (if you want). Extract + overwrite or create a fomod.

When I tried to make some 9mm bullets, it said that I need an Ammo Press Kit though I already had one in my inventory while crafting some .308...
