[RelZ] FWE - FO3 Wanderers Edition #44

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 8:15 am

I've never used Fook with this save game thread or really in the last 2 years.
So I narrowed it down: Operation Anchorage.esm

Please give me your save, I will try to track this problem and make a fix, if possible
Please post it here

I'd prefer to use 4shared (mainly because I already have an account there).

http://www.4shared.com/file/kh-kgn8l/OA_problem_Saves_for_Delamer.html

An archive with three folders and each with a note telling you what is happening with each save and what the masters are.

best of luck - I'm sure many would appreciate it if you could fix it.

Knowing my luck though - you will level without issue and it remains a mystery.

What do you mean again? I hadn't heard of it and so certainly didn't think to take it off.

Would that allow me to level?

====================

[edit] just tested with the save outside the comics building and took off the armor before leveling - still froze.

Anyway - I'm not sure what the history on it is, but sure would like to find out.

Hi everyone,

I just started playing FO3 again after a 6 months break. I reinstalled FO3 together with the most important mods to me, including FWE 6.03HF. I remember from earlier versions, that it was possible to refill empty bottles at sinks. But now it does not seem to work, or I've forgotten how to do it the right way.

Secondly I thought FWE comes with some buyable backpacks, or was this a different mod.

I coudn't find anything about this in the official readme, so I'm hoping for an answer here.

Thanks in advance.

Just crouch and use water source :)

No, we don't have backpacks. Search Nexus for blackwolf backpack

The mod http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13893 also adds buyable backpacks from SedPL, though only to its own shop, as far as I know.

But they seem to work well, at least I have encountered no problems, and the shop is a nice addition to an underutilized area.

I looked at the GNR Shop at the NEXUS. Looks VERY interesting, especially the job system. I'm downloading and installing right now. Thank you very much.

A very quick and simple question. I looked on the web page and the thread but can't find the answer. I apologize if I'm missing something obvious:

I love the config options the new FWEs. The Primary Needs config has an option to adjust the hunger and thirst rate by adjusting a multiplier number.

My question is how does this affect the rate? For example does increasing the number make your character get hungry faster or slower? I assume thirst works the same. Thanks, and again sorry if I just missed it.

Faster

Thank you very much. So increasing the variable will make my character hungry faster. And decreasing will allow the character to go longer without food.

Maybe some words to that effect in the config dialog would be a good addition? Just a thought.

This is a great mod!

It hints that higher values increase the need of nutrition. I wondered that the value for Drinks is ~1 and Food ~3, shouldnt it be the exact opposite?

Can I use the Phalanx mod with FWE 6.03 ? If the answer is yes, with or without Followers Enhanced and where should I put it in my load order?

Food nutrition is based on weight, water on quality, it's a different system.

Phalanx and FWE Followers Enhanced are mutually exclusive, so use one or the other. Phalanx should be loaded below the FWE files.

Many of the weapons in that mod are already in FWE, but a lot other tasty options that are new in that selection.

I really like the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EM-2 he's got there.

I have no idea. Do you had any problems in OA itself?
I don't understand all this troubles during level-up. In MMM it was because of the the script, attached to ingestibles, but many ingestibles have scripts attached. In OA it is armor in possession of one of the soldiers, but not only this soldier have this armor. Why this soldier specifically caused issues?
All what I did- I replaced OA power armor with wasteland edition, they almost the same, only slightly different in effects attached

As a result, we have a mystical engine's glitch here, whose nature is unknown. And we must fix it almost at random again and again.
What we will have next time?

I had no issues in OA and have probably leveled 3-4 times since playing it.

Oh well this is strange ... has it been reported to Bethesda? (not like I'd expect them to do anything)

I'm debugging my next release of Powered Power Armor, including its FWE6 compatibility patch, and encountered a problem with T-51c power armor - the legs are not targetable in VATS, and the torso and legs highlight together when you target the upper body. I tried uninstalling PPA and reverting to a save from before PPA was installed (I think) but the problem persisted. Anyone know if this is a known FWE bug, or something related to my mod that I'll need to fix?

Anybody get a chance to confirm or deny this one? Check Casdin outside of Fort Independence, I've verified it with him, as well as SPC (though with SPC it looks right since her T-51c has a sort of kilt that covers the legs).

I have seen that happen and I am pretty sure it also happens with one of the talon co. armors as well (don't remember the exact name of the armor) and that existed before you started PPA.

Yes, I already answered you- this is our armor's issue, of all T51-B models.
