[Request/Query] FWE-level damage for 20th Century Weapons?

I rather like having tons of different guns (and weapons in general). Whether Oblivion or FO3. :)

Having tried out 20th (and 19th) Century Weapons, the FO3 mod, I've decided I quite like it. Trouble is, the damage doesn't seem to be matched very well with FWE's (or even Book of Earache's FWE "compatibility mode"). To say the least. And that's a shame, because the variety is awesome, and hey - more guns! :D

How difficult/time-consuming would it be to edit said mod, so that it is FWE-compatible, more or less? Presumably, it could be done using FO3Edit, though the GECK might be a tad more neat/classy. Haven't dabbled much with that though. Just a few tweaks, amounting to one teensy "mod".

If anyone else is interested in this, would someone involved in such modding be up for the task? Or am I doomed, to attempt this myself...? :toughninja:


The only other thing that bugs me about 20th Century Weapons is some of the sounds. Like, for silenced guns, and maybe the partially so. The sounds seem kinda badly edited. Or some of them, anyway. Is that so? And if it is, once more: how difficult/time-consuming would it be to edit those, so that they sound "right"?

I did something similar for Oblivion, a home-brewed MOBS in effect.

Wrye Bash has an export function to .csv (spreadsheet format). I created formulae to manipulate the values and then copied it back to a .csv saved in Oblivion\Data\Bash Patches\.

When rebuilding the patch, my .csv shows up under 'Import Stats' (I may have used the Import function before rebuilding the patch - can't remember). Anyway it works fine.

And lets not forget that FWE further adjusts damage formula with scripts managed by ingame menus.
