OverPowered? You gotta be kidding. OP is the heavy machine gun at some map points, what is that pawner called. The FY71 is perfect. Granted, so a pawner can get it too. Oh well. This weapon is great.

Ya the scar is still better its faster, more mobil and holds more in the clip. Granted the fy71 doesnt take as many bullets but faster is better especially when ducking for cover or trying to get behind a wall to recharge.

I agree it's a nice weapon but not overpowered as the anti-DLC club make out.

I guess it has more of a fear factor to it than anything

I haven't found it to be OP. Seen some enemies take 9-10 shots from it.

I think it depends on your ping quite a bit.

When my ping is <100 it takes me about 3-5 bullets to kill with it
When my ping is >200 it takes about 7-10 bullets to kill with it
When my ping is >300 it takes about 15 bullets to kill with it

If their ping is >600 then it can take the entire clip :X

The only annoying thing I find about the lag hit correction mechanic, is when they have >400 ping, and you deal deadly damage, but if they kill you before your damage registers then part of your damage is cancelled out, cause as one person said it would be silly for a double kill like that. Its not really a problem until you are fighting in laggy conditions though. Though overall I do like hit correction, without it, anything above 120 ping would be unbearable.

I don't think the European people are joining them on purpose. I find myself getting into US servers quiet alot when searching for ranked games.

I sometimes join US servers but that's because the ping is only around 300 or less. I don't play on the European servers because the ping is over 400

I've got the both DLC's.. I've used the FY a few times but I feel its a crappy gun.. / maybe just doesnt suit my play style.. SCAR FTW!

I think the problem is with the auto-join function. It drops you in the first server with players to appear, using some algorithm, that doesn't take into consideration ping. When I was using the auto-join function for multiplayer it was always dropping me into German servers (300 ping).

Now that they have fixed the server list bug, I use the server list and sort by players, and look for servers with 100-200 ping. Alternatively I use the favourites or recent server menu.

No it used to plonk me on the exact same server, and it usually had players.

My oppinion ist that the FY is not the best weapon, i picked it up several times i killed a FY user. The scar is much better and it sounds also better. The FY has an ugly metal fire sound........

When I pick up an FY71 I usually rank up tons of kills with it, it seemed OP when I used it. I guess the main issue is that the ironsights are terrible

you guys must have high pings cause i always get killed in about 3-5 shots even with armor from this gun
