Nope. Rob is a Trog I created, kind of a sleazy dike that keeps harassing the women of a miningtown.
He is very, very intimidating though, because of Trogs' usual size a fit Trog is terrifying.
I mean, he could easily break any humans bones with ease, he knows this and he abuses this.
And no, Caliphe is a 'Lacerta', during the Great War the US Army had multiple experiements going on, so that in case A failed then they had B or C or X as backup plans.
One of these experiments was to inject prisoners with life time sentences with a lizard DNA strain, chameleon, to see the effects of regenerative abilities on humans.
Well.
The experiment was a failure and the prisoners were sent back after the lad was shut down.
Thing is, the Great War happened.
The prisoners who escaped and survived the aftermath started forcibly procreating ('that' word is censored here.) with a lot of women in the middle region of Canada.
And what came out of them was the success of the experiment.
The genes didn't apply directly to the prisoners but remained in a passive state, but their kids on the other hand became mutants.
They got a blue/grayish skin along with sharp teeth, snake-eyes and incredible regenerative abilities.
They did on the otherh and get abnormalities to them.
Their hair grows in patches on the upper and front side of their head and are mostly balding everywhere else.
Some Lacertas have hair growing straight out of their forehead because of this.
All of them tie their hair backwards and never cut it though.
And another, very important part is that they lay eggs after procreation, usual litter is 2 to 5.
Anyway, most of their race lives in Canada, but one colony decided to move south cause it was getting cramped.
They moved down south and settled down in Utah.
Then they were found by Crudus, a frumentarii.
As Caesar II had implemented new laws into the Legion that no mutants are to be harmed unless they attack first and that a peaceful resolution should be the priority, Drusus spent time with this tribe of mutants to learn what they are.
The tribe had had difficulties with agriculture and preferred to just raid others for supplies, they felt like they had no purpose though, as their tribe had nothing to achieve, nothing to advance towards, just murdering others for food.
As the Legion is oppose to raiders Drusus gave them a choice, to join the Legion where all the males have to do is fight and all the women have to do is breed more soldiers or to be either be wiped out or leave Utah.
The mutants did not care about the other options, they immediately jumped on the idea of becoming part of the Legion.
Finally, they had a society where they could belong and a purpose to exist.
Drusus offered them the racial name of Lacerta.
They accepted it, but as accustomed to their culture, if anyone saves a Lacerta's life then they must accept their name as part of their own. To not accept it would cause a Lacerta to consider it a slap in the face and would probably kill the one who save him/her.
So they offered Drusus their racial name, for him to be the flag bearer of their race, a title bestowed upon their savior.
Drusus of course accepted and became Drusus Lacerta.
(That is a very crude pitch, kinda tired right now but that's basically the highlights of the origin of Lacerta's within the Legion. Now to the north on the other hand, in Canada, there lies a tribal kingdom which has constant civil wars among each other.)
Their appearance might seem similar to Nightkins, just remember that Lacerta's have reptilian features as well as long hair. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Lacerta is latin for Lizard.
The majority of Lacerta are up north in Canada though, they're refered to as "snake-eyes" up there.
