Galaxy Tab 2 meets requirments, but marked as incompatible?

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 3:21 am

Hey Bethesda,

Something seems to be up with Fallout Shelter for Android. In the Google Play store the only listed requirment for the game is Android version 4.1 or newer. I have a Samsun Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 4.2.2 (model number is GT-P3113) on it, but the Play store refuses to install, saying it's an incompatible device. Can you help please?

Thanks,
MP

I also have the same problem with my Xperia m2, however my mother has the same phone but she can get it. We're both on android 4.4 however different phone providers. Mine is on Vodafone and is a slightly different design with caps over the ports. Not sure if this would help in any way.

Also same issue, with Sony M2 Aqua (D2403). Android version 4.4.4, can provide android build if needed. "Item is incompatible with this device".

I'm also having the same problem on my Samsung

Galaxy tab 3. It seems to meet the requirements

for FS but Google Play reports my device is not

compatible. Specs for this device are 1.2GHz

processor dual core, 1Gb system Ram, 8 Gb onboard

memory with support for 16Gb/32Gb SD card.

It's probably GPlay, never had a smooth ride with

it. Can be pretty flaky at times by my experience.

Edit Android 4.4.2 installed.

A lot of people seems to be experoiencing same issues, including myself (Samsung SM-T110).

I have opened support ticket, no response till thursday.

I wonder if Fallout 4 support will be the same.

Same issue, Galaxy Tab 3 (model SM-T210) running Android 4.4.2.

I do have it on my Galaxy S4 phone working just fine but I'd really prefer the bigger screen. And not to use my mobile data of course.

I'm another one with a Galaxy Tab 3 (model GT-P5210) running Android 4.4.2. I'm currently playing it via BlueStacks but I'd love to be able to play it on the go.

Starting to think by the time this issue gets fixed I'll have gotten sick of it in my phone... they need to extend play, somehow. Maybe get dwellers to go found a new Vault or something.

Nothing yet.

I've seen others get the game working on "incompatible" devices, like my Tab 2, by manually copying the game files over from another device though. Something must be messing up compatibility checks.

My condolences for your phone and tab. I've been checking up this game for ages, I got it on the day of release for my ipad but I can't stand playing it on that, it just crashes all the time. I agree with everyone else, it's so much better on pc, for now.

Thanks for the tip  I've managed to get it on my Tab 3 that way. Works fine, if a little laggy at times compared to playing it on the PC.

Wtf man! I mean (I have the same problem with compatibility [Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite] and the support wont to do nothing, I contacted they, but the e-mail said that I need to check this forum, in order to see if most people have the same problem and if they already fixed, but looks like Bethesda HATE Galaxy Tab′s Owners :(.

Pls Bethesda I really would like to play the game.

I am having a similar issue with GooglePlay. I just bought a new tablet, running 5.0.1 Lollipop, and was delighted to see the play store tell me that my device is compatible, finally! However when I downloaded the app I can't play, it gets to the introduction slides welcoming me as overseer, but then CTDs after sitting on the loading screen for a minute. My tablet is a Quad Core OPERO 7" 8GB HD A33 1024x600, 2015/16 model (if that makes any sense to anyone)

I'm also having this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy 2, I9100, 1gb ram, running android 4.1.2.

Can any one help out?

I hate to bring this up again, but the new version 1.2 of Fallout Shelter still lists my Galaxy Tab 2 as incompatible even though it meets the posted requirements. Are there more requirements then the one listed in the Play store?
