In game Brightnessgamma setting

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:05 am

I'm partially blind, so I need to be able to adjust the brightness and gamma on the fly. With the previous fallout games, it was no problem. Is the setting going to be introduced in a patch? Or should I just mark Bethesda as non-friendly towards visual impaired.

P.S. the intro movie is missing the subtitles

My reasons are different but I second this, I hate having to change my monitor or video card brightness. I like to make my nights realistically dark, I'm not sure why the default is so damn bright. Along with the exclusion of any survival needs and other things I feel Bethesda doesn't make a strong enough effort to make the game immersive or believable.

Just a possible work around, running the game in borderless window should use your desktop brightness/gamma, and there are several ways to have multiple profiles that can be hot keyed to switch when needed ("display profile" is one example).

There's no in-game brightness setting?! I'm not visually impaired, but as an older player I constantly adjust brightness on the fly. Bethesda seems really to have lost touch with player realities this time out. Apparantly in their little world everyone has highspeed Internet, young eyes, and uses a widescreen monitor. Wish they'd let us know in advance that they were looking to narrow their fanbase!
