For some reason, the game crashes every time I finish the 15th level of the single player campaign. The video that plays before the 16th level does play just fine, but instead of a loading screen coming up next, I get a crash.

Oddly enough, I can play the next level just fine if I select it from the Replay Mission menu.

Any workarounds for this?

Bought game from EADM. Game is fully patched. Specs: i5-2500K, 4GB RAM, HD 6950 2GB, Win7 x64. Running at 1080p Extreme w/ 16xAF forced through driver.

I have the same problem early on in the game, never tried seeing if I can advance with the mission select, I'll have to try that. This game is amazing directx 11 or not, why are people getting so worked up about this stuff, Crysis 2 is worth a little bit of trouble IMO.

It's at the part right after you get a message from Gould talking about your nanosuit, everytime I get there, Crysis crashes for me.

that's a great tip, my game was crashing at the end of "sudden impact", but when I go to select a mission in the campaign menu, it has "road rage" available.

It was a pain trying to beat the that level though because every time I died it would crash as well

This should be stickied as this problem will cause people to not be able to play the game and this fixes it. Thanks again.

Wow, I didn't have that 'death crash' problem.

That said, I'm wondering if it's a corrupted save game data issue. The only difference between getting the game to load the level by itself through progress and selecting it from the menu is that you get to keep your weapons with the first method.
