Game crashes 3-5 seconds after I hit "Play"

Post » Sun Jan 17, 2016 5:05 pm

Hey together,

I installed Fallout 4 yesterday and tried to start it today but every time I open the starting console thing and hit "Play", the loading screen saying "Please stand by" appears and then the game crashes.

Nothing else happens.

PC:

Prozessor Intel® Core™ i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 3201 MHz, 4 Cores

ASRock H87 Pro4 Mainboard

Asus HD7870 2GB DDR 5 RAM

8GB DDR 3 RAM

Please help x.x

I have been looking through several threads now, but nothing of the fixes worked for me until now...

More details from dxdiag report will help. Or you can check any error at event log?

DEAR GOD don't do this to other forum goers! What were the "settings" you changed? Mine doesn't work either, and I'd love if it did!
