Afternoon all

I have recently installed Fallout 3 ( not game of year edition ) onto my laptop , having played it on my previous one. The game installs ok , allows me to select NEW GAME , and when I select "yes" when being asked to start a new game it simply crashes , returns to windows saying an unknown error has forced the game to close. I am on Windows 7 now instead of Vista. I have patched up to 1.7 (uk version) and still nothing.

I do not suspect my graphics capability as the game loads perfectly normally and music is also there ...

Am I wasting my time here with windows 7 ?

You will need to provide all of the usual, normal problem diagnostic information, else all you can get back are worthless WAGs.
