Game crashes upon entering Home Plate : Fallout 4

This only seems to be an issue when entering Home Plate. It happens when fast traveling there or attempting to enter through the doors directly from Diamond City. I can fast travel everywhere else with no issues as well as enter other structures with no crashes. I have been playing for 90+ hours with no issues until just today. This is where I have been storing all of my items as well as weapons that I want for specific encounters. Any ideas on how to fix the issue or what may be causing this?

I guess you haven't any mods.!

Try that:

What was your save before you entered Diamond City the first time?

Find that save.

Move all your saves in a different folder, except this one. Load that and make a new hard save.

Load the new save, but don't go into Diamond City yet.

Travel far away from Diamomd City, on your second home perhaps (or just find a bed) - and sleep for 31 days. Then travel back and try to enter Diamond City again. (preferable not fast traveling)

I have seen you helped another guy with this trick, what is the reason for moving all the save files to a different folder if I may ask? Thanks.

As it seems the game reads any available save info (from all available saves on the default save folder) and loads it to the memory. So a possible corrupt file could ruin (crash) the whole game. !!!

So if that particular file is working OK (that file before the Diamond City), he should only leave that file on that save folder. After, he can copy back the rest of the saves.
