Hello,
I pre-ordered Fallout 4 months ago, and needless to say I've been excited to return to the Wastelands once more. However, it appears that my journey has been halted in quite a taunting position. At the moment when you are first exiting Vault 111, just after you have confirmed your character's appearance and stats, the loading screen starts up as normal, only for the pip-boy-esque loading screen to flash momentarily and the game crashes to desktop. This has not only been restricted to Vault 111 though - after experiencing these crashes, any loading screen I try apart from loading up a game results in this same error.
Now, I am aware that my PC isn't exactly up to par in terms of specifications - however, I can plainly say that I doubt this is the cause of this issue. I run the game at bare-bones minimum, and am able to play the game perfectly fine in terms of loading prior to attempting exit of Vault 111, and it appears that console commands have a fairly reliable chance of loading up an area without a crash. Hell, I'm able to play the game without it crashing for the most part. It is specifically when I attempt to exit Vault 111 that everything goes downhill.
Anyways, you'll probably want the specs I mentioned earlier, although as stated I doubt that this is the cause of the crashes. However, I would like to receive some help beyond a cursory "oh well you don't meet the minimum requirements, so that must be the cause" as I've found before that this isn't always the case for these types of issues. Looking forward to a response that hopefully allows me to finally return to the Wastelands once more.
Windows 10 64-bit OS
Intel Core i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20 GHz
6GB RAM
1TB HDD
Intel HD Graphics 5500
EDIT: I should add in that I've verified game cache integrity, updated drivers, restarted my computer, run as administrator, deleted Fallout4 document folder, have bare-bones graphics AND I've reinstalled the game in an attempt to fix this issue, and get no further than where I ended, as it were.
