Game crashes when I try to run it

K, so I had Oblivion installed on this computer before and it worked pretty well. I didn't play it much because I prefer it on Xbox, but it did work on here. It ended up getting uninstalled and now I've just installed it again.
"
It installed fine and I can get to the screen where it has Play, Data Files, Options, etc. but once I click play, a box pops up that says "Oblivion has stopped working, Windows is searching for a solution to the problem.". It says it's loading but it never actually does anything. I've tried it on every detail setting, full screen and windowed.

I don't know much about computers so you'll have to post if you need to know anything about my computer. It's not made for games like this but it ran Oblivion before so I don't see why it wouldn't now.

If you did not delete a file in Documents\My Games\Oblivion called Oblivion when you uninstalled the old game (the file is your configuration settings or ini) this could cause your loading problem. If you are using Windows Vista or 7 as an Operating System, You really want to install Oblivion in a user made folder on your Hard Drive, I use C:Games.
If you are using any mods then post your Load Order, and a DX Dialogue, I can not interpret the DX dialogue very well, but many of the other people who post here are very good at it.
