I just boutht this game and have win7x64 on a gaming notebook with DX11 and the uk version DVD I have has the 1.9 patch built in and installled itself after the intial install... my issue is when I die and hit enter to continue.. the game goes to the ''Crysis 2 has stopped working''...and I have noticed lots of others are having the same issue....it has to be something in the ''save game'' mode that is causing this....the game notepad is filling up with errors and warnings....way too much to be called normal....I have read a lot of posts all over the internet and I am not the lone ranger on this one....surely someone on this site has come up with a fix or work around...this being THE site for Crysis.....c'mon now surely someone has got this resolved....it has to be something toggled off or that needs to be added in whatever file is being generated by the game to save your last point..let me hear from someone and yes I have reset all settings to their lowest and set Affinity to one core and all sorts of reboots and clean boots and tweaks that abosolutely do nothing to stop this PITA bug..and yes I ran compatibility and took ownership and everything I can think of except rewrite the save game generator..and the DX11 enhancement did nothing... that mode and the 3D option are toggled off on my set up and do not respond and the texture pack really didn't do much either for a 2.2GB download it fizzled....I had no issues at all with the Original Crysis or any other game like this one...you get killed ya go back to the end of the line and restart the game....duh

Go to (C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\Crysis2) and delete that whole folder.
Then reinstall your game.
