Game ESRB Rating?

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 2:43 am

What do you guys think this game with be rated? Id much prefer m because blood effects i like cause it makes frags much more satisfying (i mean that in the least creepy way possible) and swearing can be pretty funny in context. Also, t will most likely give us annoying 10 year olds with mics.

What are your guys thoughts?

I know...remember ut 99? The goo gun (i forget the proper name) was sooo awesome if you landed a huge glob of it on someones face. They would just explode into a million little pieces after a few seconds of it sitting there :(

It was always so satisfying dropping a nade on an incapacitated enemy in ET, and watching his body explode and fly apart.

:glare: I'm just going to take a shot in the dark and say it's going to be M. Why because guns = M. :flamethrower:

No matter what the rating there is still going to be little kids with mics, hopefully they either just stick to COD or make good targets :P

You would think parents have enough intelligence NOT to buy their kids M rated games.

Yeah, I'm hoping for higher rating because of maturer audience. I know that if some kids want it they are gonna get it anway, but yeah.

In Australia, guns = MA = 15+ only. Which everyone ignores.

One gun game I've seen rated M by our OFLC (Guess that would be T for the ESRB) is XIII, and that had more blood than I saw in Uncharted 2, which was MA.

As long as it's not banned in Germany I'm fine with any rating
Some gibbing would be "nice" but from the footage so far it isn't in there(GL, Grenades etc)
As long as people coming from their games to Brink are mostly guys from TF2 and other Objective based games it'll be fine

I hope it will be rated M to keep the immature kids away.

On a sidenote: not all 13-14 years are stupid. When I was that age I tried to be as mature as possible.

There's no nudity, as long as there isn't much gore and the profanity isn't too excessive it will likely be rated T.

I believe all of their (SD, not Bethesda) games are T. Why wouldn't this one be.
