Ever since I downloaded 1.9 and fraps ( I think it was on consecutive days) My crysis 2 game has been freezing during the loading screen of multiplayer matches. I had assumed that It was because Of the patch but Not im starting to think that It could be FRAPS. What I dont understand is that I should have more than enough resources. MY PC is a bit of a BEAST. Even with FRAPS and Crysis 2 loaded Im only using 2GB of My 6GB of DDR3 RAM and I always thought that insufficient RAM was the main culpret of freezing games?.....

Can someone help me out with some advice on how to get this fixed. And BTW Fraps doesn't have to be recording for it to freeze but it always does occur only during the loading screens.

Have no idea, but have you tried MSI afterburner? Does the same thing as fraps.

Im getting kinda desperate I think im going to try disabling my Precision GPU monitor while using FRAPS and see what that does. It's really odd how I have never had to physically turn off my PC because of crysis up until 1.9 ...or...fraps, its hard tor remember what came first and when my first freeze even occured.
