Is it normal? First time it froze in new Vegas I was in Lucky 38, it froze when i got into the loading screen for going into the Penthouse. I had to sign out of Windows using ctrl+alt+del and it was working fine. Then the game froze again in the loading screen when I was trying to load a quicksave from Tops, the quicksave I was trying to load was just outside of Tops also so I had to sign out of Windows again and it worked fine after that.

Is this normal? If it is then Vegas must just be glitchy which is why they divided it into a good number of cells. I'm not sure if its a mod issue. I have the Ultimate Edition with all the DLC from Steam and the only mods I have are Mission Mojave and Mission Mojave for the preorder packs. I used BOSS to sort them out also even though I only had two mods.

I get a few freezes and CTDs around the Strip, but not nearly as many as I get in Freeside.

Freeside is actually fine for me, for now. I didn't spend much time in Freeside though.
