so i recently got the pale lady quest and tried to enter Frostmere Crypt, but my game freezes every time i try; i tried disabling my mods and didn't help

Uncheck your mods and also rename all the replacer folders in the data folder such as textures, meshes, interface, sounds, scripts, etc. Leave strings and video. Rename the rest.

what do i rename them to? anything? and just folders? i only have meshes and texture folders, no sounds/voices/interface folders only bsa files

Anything. This is a quick way to disable the mod replacer folders. Any loose texture mods go in the textures folder.
