CE Game Guide

My CE Game Guide does not have an index.

It's a reference book, without and index.

It's a [censored] reference book, without an index.

How did this happen?

The book would be twice the size and twice as much if they referenced everything. I'm glad I got mine. All you gotta do is read it. Each chapter and each side quest has a section that tells you all you need to know. And the map is good. Got it laminated which is cool cause now I can write my own notes on it.

I wouldn't want the book at all....but a laminated map.....I could go for that.

That book is amazing. The table of contents is asy to navigate and it has a solid appendices. I agree an index would be nice, but the book is still a great purchase. I love me some hard bound physical reference collector's editions book with detailed maps, quest trees, etc.

Yeah I like it. I can mark the things I want to with a dry erase marker. Works better for second time through. Plus I don't have to bring up my Pipboy all the time unless I wanna fast travel. Dang thing is like 48"x36" Has all the factions & beast info marked already on one side and points of interest, main sights and major landmarks on the other.

Hmmm... I ordered it, it hasn't arrived yet.

Disappointed to hear that there's no index though. Didn't FO3 GOTY CE book have an index? That was one of the best things about that book. I wished they would re-release the Oblivion GOTY book 1) in hardcover and 2) with an index. I would buy it again just for that.

I'm going to guess that, after all the DLC, when this book is re-released as GOTY CE book, it will have an index.

This topic would receive more attention if it was "CE Game Guide has no index". Just my usual rant about naming topics with informative names - I'd guess it can help search results too. What's a Gude?

I would say so. You can get all the same info on the internet, but it's nice to have it all in one place. No googling ect...

Exactly. Especially with discounted prices compared to retail on sites like Amazon. No switching out of the game to look something up. It's great to have the book there to just look something up. Of course, having an index would have been comparable to quickly finding something with Google, so...
