Game Informer owes us two more screenshots...

Post » Tue Jan 11, 2011 12:53 pm

I've seen just about every page, but I cannot find this elusive page 48 mountain shot anywhere.

Page 48, it's the pic bordering the top. It's the one that has text saying "A New Land" on it. It's not 'framed' like the other screenshots. Also, I believe this WAS confirmed, via twitter.

Frankly, all you complainers should be grateful that you're living inside GI's precious continent that they deliver the magazine too. I'll never own that magazine :(

Also, posting in epic thread.

Im not sure what I can say so on the subject I will leave it to Matt. He might be so inclined to answer that question for you guys or leave it all cryptic and one liner-like. All I know is I hope you guys have a second set of undies on hand when this drops. :celebration:

You totally don't torrent the scans.

I've counted again, and again, there's only 20, including the mountains.

Must have missed my post. I've counted again and again and there are 22. I can enumerate them for you if you'd like.

That's not a screenshot. A screenshot is in-game. That's not in-game.

I'll think about asking Andrew Reiner to give us a couple more screenshots for the update tomorrow and show him that he owes us. :P

Actually I think it would be awesome to see Alduin's wall in the Main Quest somewhere. Like when you have this huge challenge and don't know if you can do it so your Mentor brings you to the wall to bolster your courage.

Two more screenshots, heck we should be grateful that Bethesda allowed us to see any type of screenshots. I think what GI did was fine. I'll reinforce that opinion when I fully read the mag article.

You must be counting ones that combine on two pages that are actually one screenshot, including the one with the fire-breathing dragon, and the lady standing on her porch.

Excuse me, 21 screens. I did mistakenly count the dragon and the man standing in front of the dragon as two screens.

I assume that maybe you're not counting the very first page, the dragon on top of the building? They've stylized it but that's very much in-game.

It'd be sweet if they gave us a quick video demo of some stuff. I highly doubt they will, but I'll remain hopeful :\

No I didn't count that, but if we can get confirmation that that really is a screenshot, then the case is settled.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2011/01/12/skyrim-secrets-of-the-wall.aspx

Here is just a short snippit.

"The zoomed-in glimpses you see within the trailer are more than they may first appear to be. The carved images are part of Alduin's Wall, named after the powerful dragon that serves as Skyrim's central antagonist. Alduin's Wall is an actual structure within the game world of Skyrim, and it plays a key part in the story of the game. It depicts a prophecy heralding the return Alduin to the world of the Elder Scrolls, as well as the history of the dragons and their interaction with humanity. Each section of the wall tells a different part of the story, and we'll explain every area in detail. Each of the previous games in the Elder Scrolls series play a part in the prophecy."

Well I think it's obviously a screenshot, which isn't so much the case with these mysterious pg 48 mountains... :)
