I liked the combat update the most because combat will now be real and make me feal like I am fighting for my life. That and I will have to think on timing weapons and everything.

The Art of Skyrim would have to have been my favorite thus far. Gives an interesting insight into Bethesda's workflow and their awareness of the different stylization between games. Concept artwork has given me a lot of hope for the atmosphere of the game's towns and dungeons, and has certainly brought about a lot of interesting speculation.

Building Better Combat is my favorite with The Art of Skyrim in second.

It's all just sooooo good. Gonna have to say combat followed closely by yesterday's art.

I've been looking forward to UI coverage since I read about the UI in Game Informer. Shame it's not until tomorrow. When I saw this thread, I squealed like a girl and opened a second tab, opened GI's Skyrim hub and saw......

Nothing new.

But tomorrow is another day! And I just upgraded my internet connection, so by tomorrow evening, My Internets should be twice as fast! Yay!

Probably the Dragon Shouts update, because that gave us our deepest look at the lore behind the MQ.

I have to say there's something quite unsatisfying about all these small morsels of info. I want something substantial that I can sink my teeth into.

With that said I still enjoyed them all, but if I have to pick a favorite...hmmm...I guess I'd have to say 'wallpapers', simply because I doubt anyone else will.

Edit: No one gonna vote wallpapers with me?? How delightfully predictable! :twirl:

Hmmm I'd say the info on radiant story and the first screen.

overall though I think most of us will be disappointed with world size/fast travel.

I'm not a very artsy person. While the art videos were cool they weren't my cup of tea. I voted the technology of skyrim. It was cool to read what stuff will be making the game.

I've been satisfied with all the hubdates so far, but I'm going to choose "Building Better Combat".

"Sounds of Skyrim", closely followed by "art of Skyrim" - which doesn't share the first place only 'cause it was too damn short (four minutes ? Come on :P). Nothing like listening to the guys making the game talk about what they do best.

I'd give an honorary third price for "Secrets of the wall", for originality and to "Translating the cover", 'cause it was fun.

The articles were had some good info, but I was kind of put off by the PR speech of them. It would have been much better to have the journalists unchecked points of view on it - I'm fairly certain they *are* enthusiastic about the game, so what the hell ?

For me it is a tie between sounds of skyrim, and building better combat. SoS because of the early little preview of skyrim's theme, and BBC for learning about the new combat system.

My favorite was the Sounds of Skyrim. It was really interesting hearing him explain how they create sound effects, and I think we all kinda forget how important good sound design is. The music sounds awesome, and the sound effects we got to hear sound great too. The sound for that armor spell (can't remember the name) sounded really unique and definitely fit what the spell was supposed to be, along with having a very "full" and impacting sound. All these updates are pretty good, but that one I think actually game the most in-depth information, it being told by an actual developer through his own words in a video. Instead of just reading text.

I have to admit though, while all these small updates are good, by the end of this months coverage I'm really hoping for a BIG chunk of info. I'm really really hoping for a gameplay video, it'd just be nice to end the coverage with something awesome. Instead of just multiple "Eh. that's pretty cool.." updates.

Go to game informers home page and then scroll down the page until you see a link that says 'The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Enter the Hub'----click on it and you'll find everything they have on skyrim so far.

Either this update is going to be VERY comforting or VERY painful.

A proper PC UI is something pretty important for me.
