Hmmm... well, there's some interesting information there... nothing exciting, but it's at least informative. :)

Loved the concept arts, the distant dragon screenshot, and the proof that I was right about Dragon Shouts from the beginning. It sounds like Morrowind all over again: Changes that are improvement by addition.

It was cool, and I didn't really expect anything more - but I'm really, really looking forward to the next trailer. It'll be great to use these things with my warrior!

Awesome update, could have been a bit more specific over some effects of the shouts, but who am I to complain with concept art like that?

Dragon Shouts!

Woot!

Looking forward to these, by the sounds of it we collect the three words by killing dragons and reading them off walls. So 60 words in all to find, scattered about.

"Over time, players will build a vast arsenal of shouts: over 20 complete shouts in all, each with multiple words that must be gathered from different places around the world"

I really hope they are at the bottom of the deepest darkest dungeons, filled with traps and mega-monsters :D

It said "the amount of time you hold down the shout button is how many words come out"...I thought it had to be three words so why would you hold it down for only one or two?

The way they are handling the Dragon Shouts seems like a simplified version of the Rune based magic system in Arx Fatalis. Which was produced by Arkane which I once read were picked up by Zenimax. So hopefully more Arx Fatalis features are implemented.

Bet he won't be happy about it, but that was in the main article in the physical magazine, that you speak a word of command and force it to your side.

EDIT:@ Bryghtside: I mean I was right that Dragon Shouts were Thu'um in their older form, just like Dragonguards are to the Blades. Morrowind added to the scant information we had about the province, and it seems Skyrim will do the same.

I'm really looking forward to translating the legends on the walls that they mentioned. I'm probably going to become fluent in the dragon language through playing the game.

Read it. Loved it. Want it.

It sounds like they're going in the right direction with these dragon shouts.
So, hyping up the next update yet?

Well I'm sorry that my issue of GI still has yet to arrive in stores for me... :sadvaultboy:
