Game locks up after a few minutes of play

Hey guys,

I hate to make a new thread about this but I'm at a loss here.

I've been trying all day (without success) to get my game working right. Here's what I have so far:

I started a new game on a fresh install of Fallout 3 and all the mods. I've combed through each individual readme file several times trying to figure out if I'm missing a file. Problem is I start with the alternate FWE start point and I can only walk a few blocks (if that) before the game starts freezing. I've tried everything I can think of, I've spent 6 hours now trying to figure this out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try moving:
[X] Fellout-Full.esp
[X] Fellout-BrokenSteel.esp
[X] Fellout-Anchorage.esp
[X] Fellout-Zeta.esp
[X] Fellout-PointLookout.esp

...after [X] xCALIBRuniverse.esp and see if that works.

Note: Keep [X] Fellout-pipboylight.esp where it is.

thanks for the reply... tried it still no-go. crashes after i walk about 2 minutes.

Most frustrating thing in the world... I can't figure out what's wrong :\

Nope, still same thing. Freezing after 5 minutes outdoors....


I didn't know BOSE was ported over to Fallout, that's a great help but after I run it I get the same thing.

Load only the Bethesda mods and see if the game runs (useful especially if the crash is fairly reproducable)
Then if it is OK (it usually is)
Add Half the Mods
If it crashes
Add the other half and uncheck the first half
usually it should have stopped crashing. From there add half of unchecked mods until you figure out the problem.

I currently do not use MMM or Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch anymore because I traced them to excessive crashing, but in my game MMM might need to have less company from other mods...
