Game Manual?

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2011 1:29 pm

So my question is, where will be able to find a Skyrim game manual once it's released? I know there's an in depth 200-page-something manual available for purchase, but what for those who do not buy it? Will steam come with a digital manual or will the game (standard version) come with a small booklet? UESP can take quite a bit to put up a manual for Skyrim, a manual could be really useful for those that did a bunch of things in the game but want to know if they're not missing out on some things. For example let's say someone doesn't know how to go woodcutting and where to start, a manual would say "A good place to start woodcutting is Riverwood", but those who do not have a manual might even not notice the place or something.

They are releasing a guide for the game. Should be out almost right away.

The manual the game comes with will probably tell us all we need to know, and the UESP will cover any other details.

Are you referring to the game guide. That is not really a manual. As it is on steam, you will find the manual as a downloadable pdf on the store page. You won't even have to buy the game to view the manual. I am guessing htere will be a smal booklet for those who purchase a physical copy of the game.

I would like to see a manual that explain more than just the game controls. It would be nice if there was a map of Tamriel in it and a few pages about the lore too.

The Daggerfall and Redguard manual were quite nice that way. Not really needed for the game or anything, but it was there for those who were interested.

The redguard manual was awesome. I've read it several times just for fun.
