Is there a fix for this bug? when i open up my in game menu to use the map or change gear the whole menu is blank. i can still open the chart, drop/use items (even though i cant tell what i'm using) but cant see anything. i tried restarting the game and even ejected the disc but it still wont pop up.

When this happened to me once, entering and exiting power armor seemed to fix it.

I've also seen changing between first and third person mode can clear it. If that fails, perhaps try going a settlement, entering workshop mode then exiting it and seeing if it clears it.

thanks i've tried all that and it didnt work. the only way to see the menu now is by entering a power armor suit. i've been trying to play the game without using it so that svcks. only other thing i could find to fix it was loading an earlier save but the last save i have is 20 hours behind in game play. sent a report to bethesda hopefully they can fix it. but they didnt do [censored] when i had a similiar problem with skyrim.

Have you tried completely shutting down the PS4 unplugging at the wall and booting it back up? Sometimes that can help. Otherwise, you could try deleting and reinstalling the game. (Your saves are separate from the install data so you wouldn't lose them.)

I've seen this one popping up a lot though so hopefully it's one that's going to be fixed in the next patch.

It's a bad one that needs patching when the only option is to lose all your progress to fix it.

well it happened again. i think i found out whats causing it though. it seems to happen after i use a certain set of power armor. i had a problem with this same set of armor before. i was trying to upgrade a set of armor i found that had nothing equipped on it (helm, arm, legs, etc) but when i clicked on the power armor station, it somehow made me jump in to the power suit i already had waiting at the power armor station, so now the one suit of armor has 2 inner suits in it. luckily i only lost about an hour worth of game play this time.

If that black screen happens again on casual gaming, (so don't try anything funny), it would be very helpful to post the video in question.

If it's something that shouldn't happen at all, i will see what i can do about it.
