So, last night, I quick save and alt+tab to check something on the Fallout 4 Wiki. When I tab back in, the game is just a black screen, I didn't know how to fix that, so I just force quit from task manager. Then, whenever I tried to start the game, it goes to a black screen and just constantly loading? When I look in task manager, it says "Not Responding". I tried uninstalling the game, and re-installing it to a different hard drive, but it's still acting the same way.

I did try to search and see if people have had this problem, the closest thing I found was changing the game to start up in windowed mode in the game launcher. I tried this, now I can hear sound, I can hear when I press the W and S key to select options in the menu on startup, but now I can't see any video? I'm not sure what the problem is, it's like the game is started up, but all I only see my desktop.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having this exact same issue. When I hover over the game on my taskbar and I hear the sound, I can see the video in the little preview window, but there's nothing on my screen. I've tried messing around with the parameters and verifying integrity of cache, still nothing. I guess all we can do as of now is wait for a fix.
