Game Pad Set-up Problems

Post » Fri Apr 17, 2015 7:04 am

I recently purchased a Logitech F710 wireless controller for PC as I am struggling with the mouse/keyboard gameplay. I am running an Intel I7 with a GTX 280 card, Vista home premium. The system recognizes the controller,Oblivion "sees" the controller but I can't get it to do certain commands. The left stick will move the character forward, back and side to side but the right stick will not let me "look around" so it's really difficult to go into any combat situation or even explore. Any advise would be appreciated,I just ordered Morrowind on disc and as all my playing of ES games has been on the PS3 I am used to using the gamepad style of controller and would like to continue using one on my PC. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The Oblivion and Morrowind PC versions do not have full support for game controllers. There is an application called http://joytokey.net/en/ that's supposed to provide this, but I have no direct experience with it myself.

I had no problems with the wired Xbox One controller and Oblivion. Right joy stick camera worked fine.

You might be able to find a used one at gamestop or ebay.
