2 game play issues

Post » Sat Nov 05, 2016 1:13 am

Ok I just started playing Skyrim Remastered on Xbox One and have noticed 2 problems so far and am wondering if anyone else is having the same problems or if anyone knows how to fix them.

1st. The game is very choppy, almost laggy like when running around questing and even more so when sneaking.

2nd. When I am buying and selling from merchants occasionally when I press "A" to buy or sell it will double click. This svcks because you will accidently buy or sell gear that you don't want to. I tried on both controllers incase it was a sticky button issue but it does it on both and one is brand new.

Any ideas?

I have not had any issues with laggy performance on the XBox One. I have not made it that far. Even when I used some texture mods like skyim improved meshes mod.

I will be going back to not using mods since I do prefer vanilla.

[edit]

Are you using any mods?

how far did you get in the game?

No I'm clueless when it comes to mods, I'm playing as it came in the package.

The choppy play I can live with but the double clicking is very frustrating.

It wouldnt be so bad if there was a buy back option for those items you didn't mean to sell...I know I can go back and buy it again but now it's quadruple the price lol

Skyrim SE is great, but one needs the unofficial patch to get rid of all the mess. Make sure it is in the top of the list and there are no mods before it. Then go to the console and hold the xbox button until the console shuts off. After 1/2 minutes turn the console back on to get the green screen. This will clear your cache and your game should run fine. I run 24/26 mods on the xbox and I am also an author. When one uses mods, they should make a test character and see what mods they want. The unofficial patch is a must for better game play. You will notice the difference. After you download, delete, download, delete, your character becomes corrupt which is why it is a test character. When you have the mods you desire, delete all your saves, and do the green screen thing. Then make your character. You will enjoy the game better.

Hope that helps.
