Game progressively breaking more and more

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:09 am

Hey guys, my girlfriends game is slowly getting more and more buggy and I suspect it's got something to with how much she has built her settlements. Even I noticed that her game seemed slower and more buggy than mine does and I haven't really built anything but turrets in a few of my towns. But now she's complaining about the game crashing when she loads in, her radio on the pip-boy is just giving off like a static noise and then blue screening her or just not playing at all. She has built quite a lot and probably a bit more than when I last saw her.
Is anyone else having this issue?

I have not built that much in the settlements but then again I am on my 3rd character since I like restarting in these games. I play something close to Dead is Dead mode.

I might give it a shot for one my characters that will go into rebuilding the Commonwealth Under Queen Elizabeth III

Things in prior games Fallout 3 and New Vegas tend to slow down when having so much inventory on your character and in Fallout 4 there is so much more stuff like settelments and character load and stuff you store in containers and so on, probably puts a strain on the consoles hardware.

Maybe breaking down the components manually might help with that if you have a lot of them but that can be pain to do and maybe it is best not to have the perk that allows you to share the components.

I usually try not to store that much. If I am not using it or plan on using it I sell it.

Same issue here, and I suspect the same reasons. I'm heavy on storing loot and I collect absolutely everything, a stocked inventory is a survivors best friend. As I progress there's more and more frame rate issues and recently a glitch that caused me to pack it in (on another thread).

Bethesda - This shouldn't be a issue, if the hardware can't handle the data then why include it in the first place?

Mine is completely fine and my sanctuary is built up as far as it will allow me. I have loads of stuff stashed in my many boxes and its only ever crashed once. My game is installed on a seperate hard drive connected via usb and it never has any issues, no stuttering or framerate loss. Maybe, if you have one, try installing it on that and see what results you get.

Best of luck to you.
