Game runs too fast

I was happy to see that Bethesda actually made the V-sync option do something this time around, but the problem still persists of when you go over 60 fps, the entire game speeds up with it. Is there a fix for this?

I don't want to have to enable V-sync because of the mouse lag it causes. It was one of my biggest issues with Fallout 3.

Hmm i cant think of anything but to enable vsync, but you dont want that cause of mouselag.

Go to Documents - My games - FalloutNV
now back up fallout.ini and falloutPrefs.ini

Right click each file - properties- make sure their not set to read-only.
Once thats checked find this in each file

iFPSClamp=0

set it to "60" In fallout.ini and falloutPrefs.ini

iFPSClamp=60

To make sure the changes dont reset, put them both back in read-only after saving.

Idk if that helps, its the only thing i can think of, Other people might have better solutions. And sorry for my bad english

FPS clamp's something I'm not willing to use either. It pretty much causes the exact same effect. I'll see if I can find a program to limit it to 60 fps. I'm not sure whether it'll cause input lag, but it's worth a shot.

Im pretty sure you can find something on the net tht does that. I used one on the sims3 before, something called framelimiter or something. It creates a batch file for the game and limits the fps. Im not sure if its the same effect as vsync tho.
