Any tips for bosses? I keep getting killed by them no matter what I do. 2 superbombs doesn't wipe them out and a ship or rogue bomb gets me out of nowhere.

Yeah bosses are pretty tough. I think you need to aim at its guns specifically. Bombs dont seem to help much, I save them for the smaller ships.

I've been playing it for a bit and it's pretty fun. I'd recommend it to everyone who has never had an epileptic attack before. :P

This game is rediculous. I get killed in survival by debris that doesn't do anything most of the time. I did Through Fire and Flames with almost 500,000 points on normal but can't for the life of me survive for more then 2 minutes in survival. I have tried other songs as well with no luck.

Can't even get close to the objective score.

I wouldn't waste superboms on bosses, use them when you get swarmed and are about to die. The game gets slightly easier once you reach the final level, which happens fairly fast. You start with "beat hazard" and as I recall more volume/power powerups drop when you die.

With the Beat Hazard thing today I completed 10 objectives from games I already own, I didn't buy any games either. Exciting.

I would buy Just Cause 2 but I don't know when I am going to have a computer with Vista / 7 on it to play games on.

Logged onto Steam and got 3 of the objectives automatically. :D

I've beaten Metro 2033 on hardcoe but didn't get the objective.

I'm ranked in the 200s for both time survived and score (56 minutes, 80 million points). Basically with bosses you either strafe or preferably circle around them (their laser is your biggest threat). You have to destroy the turrets on them before you can finish them. Once you reach Elite rank, you will automatically start with max weapon power which helps a lot. I only use bombs when there are lot of enemies/objects on screen and I'm about to get crushed or a boss is coming and I don't have time to clear it all away.

After many tries on Normal difficulty to gain rank for the bonuses I reached 670,000 on Through Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. Still quite far from the 3.7 million that is needed for the objective.

It also appears that everyone gets a free objective for the one to watch the trailers. I figured they would do something like this since I couldn't think of any way they could track it.

If anyone is struggling on Beat Hazard just rank up to Elite on normal mode and Survival will be to easy.

Finally got the Beat Hazard objective, I figure I can get the Left 4 Dead 2 one once I get home or sometime this weekend. So that will put me at 7 completed out of 10. So far I have not won anything and am not holding my breath for the other few days or final drawing.

I got 8 objectives so far.

I think I was around rank 20 on Beat Hazard before I managed to get that objective. I played Muse: Unnatural Selection + Muse: MK Ultra and that gave me enough and it wasn't too tough at that rank.

Now I'm getting that score much easier.

11 objectives so far for me. :) Not that I'll win the grand prize, or have any idea what to do with it if I did... (Seriously, I'm not sure there's 100 games I'd want on Steam by this point.)

Zombie Driver is a good deal for 75% off today, FWIW. I bought it during the last sale and found it a lot of fun. There's something to be said about relieving stress by running hordes of zombies over with a car. :P

I'm sitting on twelve. IF there's some actual games I want next time I'll end up getting them. These two today do not interest me. So one more guaranteed tomorrow. Meaning I will have 13. Hope there's two games I want next time.

Graphic in the list turns into an open chest of gold (and it also grays out the entry.)

Some incredible deals on GoG, including Tyrian 2000 for free (!), Planescape: Torment for 6,99 (nobody has an excuse not to have played it anymore! :P ), Baldur's Gate 2 for 6,99, etc.

Worms Reloaded is 50% off on Steam. Almost tempted to buy it now.

Doubler: I thought Tyrian 2000 was always free? I remember it was awhile ago (though not on GoG).

Anyone have an opinion on the Worms game? I want to buy it but not sure if I want to spend $10 on it, and with my luck it will go on a bigger sale during the holiday.

Valve should say if a game price goes down within 7 days you get your money back. Since sale sgenerally don't repeat this would be a good incentive near holiday sales to buy games.

I would assume on the 21st after the treasure hunt is done. I am at 8/10 objectives at the moment, unless there is something good up tomorrow I don't think I will get all 10, but that is fine since I don't think it would have made the difference in winning.

I opened the 5 hat with 6 objectives, the next one is 15 then 28. So as long as you have more objective than required it unlocks.

I only played a bit f Worms 3D before and thought it was a bit fun but I think being 2D it will be more so, but I am debating if its woth the $10 or if I should wait for it to be less.

Nice, I needed to complete 2 more objectives to get to 10, but I had met the requirements for 'suggestive behaviour' and 'Overachiever' already. :D
