More like they need more servers. Maybe if they bought their own island and turned it into a server farm, that might be enough to get us through the holiday sale without the inevitable epic server failure.

I thought the design was quite good. Their infrastructure, on the other hand, isn't ready for the sudden traffic spike.

Do you guys thinik for $2.49 USD the FEAR 2 DLC is worth it? I usually refuse to buy DLC but since its so cheap I was considering it. I did buy Bad Company 2 though, really its the only thing that sticks out today.

Reborn was quite entertaining extra chapter for F.E.A.R. 2, and prepares the stage for F.E.A.R. 3.

As I said though I rarely if ever buy DLC and so I am not sure if it is goign to be worth the $2.50 if it will only last a couple of hours and then probably never get touched again.

Well, for $2.5 you won't be losing much

It wasn't that long, not longer than a single chapter in the main game, but the levels were pretty nicely designed. And you get another brief ride in the Elite Power Armor

Being unemployed that $2.50 can go towards a game that I am more interested in, or attempt to feed me for a night when I get back to school. Which is the debate right now.

I'm going to be buying the Peggle Complete pack as I have been waiting for that to g on sale forever.

I recommend the FEAR pack for people who don't have them, amazing deal. Also I bought Evil Genius during the last sale ($2.5) and have been enjoying it a great deal, I highly recommend it for $1.5.

I second the recommendation for the FEAR pack. For $10 you at least get the original FEAR and FEAR 2 which are great games, subpar multiplayer, but great single player (with the exception of the FEAR 2 ending).

I just bought the Commander Keen Collection (the memories! :blush: ) and 'Beyond Good and Evil'.

The FEAR complete pack is tempting... I have Fear 1 but none of the expansions, and I don't have FEAR 2 either.

Edit: Alright I got it, and Evil Genius as well. A promising start.

Bought PoP:Warrior Within + The Two Thrones based on recommendations here (behold your power!

I have SoT on disk, need to finish it :hehe:). Also picked up http://store.steampowered.com/app/29800/, since the demo was okay and who can say no to a $1 game? I actually bought two copies of it, to test something I've heard you can do (in this series of threads, I believe it was); gift a game to yourself, and you'll then be able to resend it to other people, if you so wish. It appears to have worked, though I haven't gifted it to anyone just yet. Thought it worth mentioning, since it means one can effectively store games to gift later.

Ugh I hate that Steam automatically pauses my downloads when I play any game. Is there a way to make it stop? I found out that if you pause the download, then alt-tab out of the game you can force it to keep downloading, but some games crash when you do that.
