I had to jump on the Bad Company 2 deal, thankfully it runs fairly decent on my laptop with medium settings (textures on high). Been wanting it for a while, and this deal was just too good to pass on. Waiting excitedly for tomorrow's new deals :D

I liked Warrior Within the best. Sands of Time is good too but it has a simpler combat system and it's much easier. I've only played Two Thrones on the PSP, which was OK.

Ugh I hate that Steam automatically pauses my downloads when I play any game. Is there a way to make it stop? I found out that if you pause the download, then alt-tab out of the game you can force it to keep downloading, but some games crash when you do that.

Definitely. Even if the game doesn't have any online features or whatever. :shakehead:
There's a Pay What You Want sale for Beat Hazard going on, and you can pay nothing if you like.

Very cool game, I recommend it. :)
I thought this was funny on the steam forums:

"Bethesda be trolling"

http://store.steampo...d.com/sub/4875/

It just goes to the front page, what is it?

You know, sales like this makes you wish you should't hold Christmas at your grandparents house :P
I dread to think of the sales I'm going to miss..

I've bought the Deus Ex and with Povuholos help I even got the game working. :foodndrink:

The http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6330/ is 50% off now. It contains all X games plus community made mods. Pretty good if you like those kind of games. I'd wait to see if it pops up in a daily deal though. :P

Avencast: Rise of the Mage is 75% off ($4.99 US) on Impulse. Never played it but it seems to be reviewed well and seems like something most people here would like.

Yes you should :stare:

And Resident Evil 5 for 10€ isn't bad either. If you liked RE4 you'll most propably like this. I prefer to play it with PS3, but the graphics look MUCH better on PC with Dx10 mode.

I already have it, but i might be interested in Gothic and/or Disciples. Any experiences with them?

Anyone know how The Witcher Enhanced edition works on Steam? Where do you get the soundtrack and maps that it advertises?

The maps, soundtracks and other files bonuses advertised will be found in the game's directory, in SteamApps/Common/TheWitcher. :)

Witcher and Bioshock 2, welcome to my computer. Soon you'll meet the rest of your friends.
What's that?

Oh right. I can't bring you in now. Otherwise I'll have to pay lots of extra for overloading the Gbs I can download each month. :P (I'm stucked at 40 gb a month... and Empire Total War already ate 18 gbs of that)

Does it stick them in a sobfolder or just randomly placed in there?

I was readign around and I guess the boxed copy comes with a mininovel and coin, both of which will probably never see the outside of the box. So if they organize the extras properly in the folder I will just go with the Steam edition.

They'll be a in a subfolder, named "Extras" or something similar. And the subfolder will most likely have other subfolders.. one for the soundtrack, etc.

I'm not downloading it now, but maybe the mini-novel is also provided as a PDF? I'd love that. :D

Purchased the Witcher. Nothing else really sticks out today.

Anyone have an opinion on Puzzle Quest? Its only $1.50 so I am just curious.

Not really any enticing deals for me today, but whoever doesn't own The Witcher yet definitely needs to jump on this deal, great game.

I was hoping that would go on sale too, but for much less since I don't know if I would like it or not. I've never played that kind of game before.
