One of the current qualifiers in Steam's contest at the moment is having 10 friends, and I don't have that many. Someone friend me on Steam (same username, Rhekarid), so that I can exploit our shallow friendship for personal materialistic gain.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

I'm curious about CCG's, and http://store.steampowered.com/app/49400/ is down to $5 (50%), so I'm thinking about getting it. Is it worthwhile as a relatively cheap introduction to the genre?

I got it as part of an indie pack a little while ago and it seems pretty fun. I'd look at the trailer and see if it looks like something you would enjoy. I have someone on my friends list who has put 15.8 hours into the game.

On a side note I am going to pick up "Evil Genius", it looks pretty fun.

Anyone ever notice that sometimes when using Firefox the Stea search looks really weirdly laidout? I don't think no script or adblock plus should affect it and my other addons do not affect web pages at all.

It looks fine for me, I'm on the FF beta though.

It displayed strangely for me on the first search (FF 3.6.12; NoScript; AdBlock), but after refreshing it looked fine. So did every search after the refresh. :shrug:

So I just did the first objective for the new list. Waiting for it to update so I can get my opened treasure box!

Maybe undone has to actually open his gift in order for it to update. he'd better open it before the deadline!

Couldn't you just create a second account and gift a game to your normal account? Or is that against some Steam rule? I added you anyways

Too bad I can'tplay L4D2on my laptop to get that objective. no real money for the gift one. anyone have any idea how good Shatter is? Only $2.50 so I might give it a shot but if anyone has opinions I would like to hear them.

You and me both. I have 5 objectives. I bought Undone Evil Genius and yesterday I bought MTG (which I already have on Xbox) so I could get the devesator achievement... which was done on the first match... in about 15 minutes

I am at 4/10 and only bought one game which was Chime when it was on sale. Too bad I didn't play Left 4 Dead 2 more when I was home. I am 1/8 on that acheivement. Hopefully over the next few days there are easier objectives. I don't think I will win anything anyways so I am not too concerned about it. I am more interested in the sales then the actual contest.
