Kain groggily sat up. He pushed his hair, that was sticking to him in sweaty clumps. Looking around he saw he was in room. To his left was a window that useless, because you couldn't see out of it. That covered most of that wall, in front of him a TV on a table and right above it was a clock. The walls were gray and their was a crutch laying against the wall in the corner. Their was a curtain like thing that blocked his view of his left.

What I'm I doing here?

Looking down he saw an item that covered most of his arm and had a screen on it that was as big as it was. The screen displayed his body and various other readings, that Kain was able to identified from working with his father.

Hmm, Seems my vitals are okay

That was good to know. Kain saw his equipment was located to his left, right by his bed. He was about to grab it when a voice issued from the screen of his new "watch"

Hello new recruits and welcome to The Game.

Oh God, I can't believe I was captured by that psychopath.

Now whats this score thing, your probably wondering. Well you see every time you kill something, their transmitter will display a bar code, scan this bar code by bringing your transmitter up against the other one. The harder the monster or person is to kill the more points you will get. If you get 100 points,come to me and I'll give you a new weapon. If you 300 points, I'll enhance your abilities. If you get 500 points, I'll set you free. So get out there and start the killing.

Kain opened on the map on his transmitter. He was currently in Our Lady of Hope Hospital. Grabbing his equipment he proceeded through the door.

I don't want to kill people. I'll just go a see if they want to join me, it should be easier in a group.

Jonathan was just beginning to wake up. He looked around and a duffel bag on top of a medical cot. He stood up and he instantly felt pain in his side. He lifted up his clothes to reveal that his side was covered in bandages. he struggled to get to the bag and opened it revealing its contents. they were his MP5, his beretta, a few clips for each, and a combat knife. As soon as he grabbed everything he heard a voice coming out of somewhere. He looked at his wrist and on there there was a watch like device. The voice told him everything he needed to know about where he was and why he was there. Damn, I can't do anything like this. He stumbled and tried to get to the door. He slowly opened it and peered outside. The hallways were empty so he slowly stepped out and made his way to the lobby as best he could. At the lobby he decided to sit down for a while to rest his side....

Ann found herself in what appeared to be an old hospital. Her systems were slowly booting back up. She tried to remember how she had gotten there in the first place. An alarmed pinged in her head, a new system was located. She looked at her left arm. A wrist computer had been put in place and was trying to boot up. From what she could tell it was trying to locate a source of bio power. Since she was an android and her systems logic was far more advanced it was blocking it out. She decided to not let it connect and searched the room she was in. She found her Jericho 941 and her back pack in a corner of the room. the room itself was quite empty, but it appeared to be what was left of a cafeteria freezer.

The alarm pinged again. Ann blocked it out and left the room searching for a way out, and a way to complete her objective. She made it another thirty feet when the wrist computer let out a shock that disabled her. As she hit the ground she let out a yelp, and waited for everything to return to normal. She figured it would be best to let the computer connect. As soon as it did it left a message.

"Hello new recruits and welcome to The Game.

Location: Our Lady of Hope Hospital Basemant.

Alex's eyes widened. He rubbed his hands on his eyes, clearing his vision. When he awoke, he took a deep breath, but just as he inhaled, liquids flooded into his lungs. He couldn't breath, he grabbed his throat coughing, until he beat on his chest coughed, releasing a dark red spray of blood, out of his mouth. "Oh god..." Alex muttered. He noticed a device that was latched onto his wrist. He tugged on it, attempting to pull it off, but it wouldn't budge. The screen on it blipped, until he could see the dark silhouette, of a man, sitting in a chair. A voice emitted from the device, saying,

"Hello new recruits and welcome to The Game."

Alex looked around him trying to find a way out of the room, when he realised, all of the walls, and the ceiling, were mirrors. He got up, and stumbled over to one of the mirrors. It was like a funhouse. Each mirror he looked in, had his body set in different proportions. "What the hell...?" Alex whispered to himself. He looked around the room, and noticed a sledge hammer, leaning against one of the smudged, dirty, mirrors. He walked over to it, and grasped it in his hand. He could barely lift it up over his shoulder. He was much weaker than normal.

Damn, why am I so weak..? I can barely see straight.

He sat in the center of the room, and pondered, on why the sledge hammer was even there. "God damnit' what do you want me to do!" Alex shouted, hurling the sledge hammer against the wall. The mirror shattered. Behind it were his two .50 Caliber Desert Eagles, "Ebony and Ivory" He walked over towards the shattered glass, and holstered his handguns in his pockets.

I see now...

Alex picked up the sledge hammer, and walked over to the next mirror. He swung the sledge hammer into the mirror, it shattered, sending shards of glass flying throughout the room. He quickly raised his hand over his eyes, shielding them. Pieces of glass sunk into Alex's skin. "Ah, [censored]!!" Alex cried in pain. It was all over him. "God damnit'!" Alex swore. Conveniantly, behind that mirror, were his stimpaks. They were in a pouch, which he picked up, and strapped to his belt. He didn't concentrate on his wounds. For now he had to focus on getting the hell out of that place. So he backed up, and chucked the hammer into the next mirror.

Ann slowly walked through the corridors off the hospital. She kept scanning everywhere searching for threats. She saw a sign on one of the walls.

"Lobby," she said to herself.

Knowing that was the easiest way out of the hospital she began heading in that direction. She looked down at her feet as she was walking and noticed she had some new clothes on. Some high length leather boots, some worn out shorts, and a brown tank top. All of it was crudely wrapped in worn clothes or armoured with metal pieces that would be used in cooking or other tasks.

She came into the lobby and noticed a man was sitting on the other side of the lobby, he looked in pain. She slowly crept towards him, readying herself for an attack. Her system told her to assist the man in pain, but she wasn't going to let her guard down. She slowly approached him, not letting her sight off him.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" she said, it didn't sound very intimidating with her programmed cheerful voice.

Jonathan's thought about how he would function out in the field with the wound and thats when he heard a voice. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

He looked around and spotted what looked like a woman, "I'm, well ummm, I'm Jonathan and I assume I'm here for the same reasons you are." He tried to stand up as straight as possible and not show any signs of pain though it didn't work. He extended his hand out to shake this womans hand. "And who might you be?" Jonathan had his other hand on his pistol just in case she tried anything.

Location: Our Lady of Hope, Surgery.

Cyrus Awakens, with what feels like a hangover, to a high pitched buzz. Looking at the source, a odd divice strapped to his left arm, he smakes it hoping to shut it off. It insted gives him a shock, resulting in a frenzie of "[censored]s".

Damn what was that? Oh [censored] where am I?

Searching the room he finds his nickle plated .45 and his silenced 10mm sub-gun. He realizes hes naked and luckily find what appers to be a blood stained trench coat, a pair of boots (which he fashions with some spiked knuckles for extra kicking fun), a dirty and bloody t-shirt and a creepy looking leather apron.

Hmmm... this is awfly menacing looking... hehehe

Ann looked at his hand, and then his other on his pistol. She identified the pistol in seconds, it was a Beretta. She shook his outstretched hand. It was best to not start any conflict right now.

"I'm G... Ann," she said to him, "I guess we both have the same goal."

She began computing her chance of success if Johnathon joined her. It seemed to increase, so logically she asked him if he was interested in teaming up.

"Would you like to work as a team?" she asked.

Jonathan noticed that Ann paused for a while before actually saying her name though he disregarded it. "Sure i'll join you." He stumbled over to where he was sitting and picked up his MP5 and walked back towards Ann. "So, How many more people do you think are in here."

Kain started out on the ground floor, so he saw Jonathan coming down and hid in one of the corners. He appeared to be injured and rested in plain sight, but Kain still didn't trust him. He would just sit and wait and see if anyone else would come along, that way he would know if the guy was hostile or not. He legs were getting stiff from staying in is crouching position, but Kain dared not to move. He perked up when he heard the sound of footsteps and saw a lady enter the lobby. She appeared to be in her early twenties, but Kain knew not to judge by appearances. She and stranger met with guarded eyes and the guy's hand went to the pistol. Kain listened to the conversation and decided maybe he should try his luck.

Well here it goes, I hope they don't shoot me.

Emerging from his hiding place he said,

"Ah, Hello."

The two of them whirled around and glared at him, Kain put his hands in the air, in hopes of warding off a potential attack.

"Um, I couldn't help but over hear that you guys were teaming up. I would like to join your team to, if possible. I'm a doctor and I could help you with that injury, if you want?"

They both nodded and lowered the guard a little. Kain moved forward and began addressing the guy's side.

"Thanks, I didn't know if you guys were going to shoot me or not, but I decided that I could take my chances."

He finished healing Jonathan's side, Jonathan stood up straighter and tried stretching.

"All healed. You just had a couple of bruised ribs, not to dangerous, but hurts like hell. Oh, I forgot to mention my na-"

Well, Well new recruits. I must say that you have disappointed me so far and hope for better things in the future. I would also like to say that the traps have been disabled and the monsters on there way. I do hope you manage to entertain for a little while, if that's even possible for you.

Kain looked back at the others and said,

"As I was saying, the names Kain. Also do any of you have combat training, because I'm not sure if we should head out, or stay here?"

The sledge hammer made contact with the dirty mirror, glass shards scattered throughout the room, pinging against the walls. Luckily no more hit Alex. Alex limped towards the small cubby that was revealed behind the open glass. Behind this mirror were his med-x and jet, which were both in a pouch also. He strapped the pouch to his belt. Also behind the mirror, were 5 purified waters, and some yao guai meat, which he did not bring along with him. "Well, looks like I get a bonus." Alex mumbled under his breath.

"Alright, thats all of my equipment. Now, how do I get out of here?" Alex muttered. "Hmm, maybe.." Alex thought. He then picked up the sledge hammer, backed up, and once more, sent it hurtling towards another mirror. This time, when the sledge hammer shattered the glass, Alex didn't hear it hit the wall of the cubby behind the mirror. About five seconds later, he faintly heard it tumbling on some of the hard cement. "Just as I thought." Alex said grinning. He walked over to the dark hole, which didn't seem to end. He took out his handguns and aimed them inside the hole, turning on their flashlight attachments. This hole was an exit.

Nice.

Alex climbed up into the whole, wincing as the glass shards maneuvered through his skin. He then proceeded to crawl up through the whole. He held one of his handguns in his mouth, so it could shine through the hole, enabling him to see. After what seemed like hours, Alex hit the top of the hole. He put one of his hands up and pushed on what was covering the deep alcove. Rays of light peered into the hole, Alex's eyes cringed, his head immediately started to ache, his eyes weren't adjusted to the light. He pushed the cover to the side, letting it drop. It impacted on the hard floors, letting out a high pitched chime. Alex placed both of his hands on each side of the ground, and pushed up, pulling his slender body out of the hole. Alex sat down on the floor of the hospital, before crawling over to a wall, and leaning on it. He took his handgun out of his mouth, and holstered it into his pocket. He then plucked a shard of glass out of his cheek, letting it fall to the ground. "Jesus..." Alex sighed wiping some blood off of his face.

He looked to his left, and noticed two men and a woman, all talking to eachother. He gave them a two fingered wave, saying, "Hows it going?" with a smirk.

Cyrus creeped quietly down the halls listing for every sound, then a shifting noise. He turned around to see only a radroach, hardly an enemy. He gave it a kick and it went flying messily down the hall into a slump.

"Sorry but that wasn't a preditermaned foe.. no points for you. (manic laughter)"

Muther [censored].. oh well time to find some thing else...

Ann watched carefully as Kain patched up Johnathon. She let her computer memorize the method in case it would be needed, though she doubted she could replicate it without seeing it done again. She began pacing the lobby when she heard a voice.

Kain asked what the others specialties were.

"I'm good with working with tech, and I'm also proficient in unarmed combat," she replied, "And I think it might be best to stay in the hospital, outside is very open where large numbers may overwhelm us."

"Hows it going?" said the voice.

Ann turned and saw a young man waving. He had two deadly Desert Eagles, but he wasn't in much position, nor condition, to shoot them. Ann walked over to the man and helped him up.

"It seems the man in charge of this game has sent some creatures here to kill. He's not to pleased with the three of us joining up. Would you care to join us?" she said very bored.

Pressed aganst a rotting wall, Cyrus made his way to the new voices. As he turned the corner guns at the ready he noticed they seemed to be non-hostil. Holstering his guns he walked up to them waving and giving his name in the best way he could, which isnt to nice... but he tried.

"Hey, I'm Cyrus. So whats go-in on here anyway?"
"God you look like hell! Fall into a window or mirror or sumtin? Take this (hands over Med-X)"
