No problems here, just wanted to congratulate makers of Fallout 4 for the game of the decade award!

There will be another elder scrolls out before this decade is out so I doubt Fallout 4 will get this award ;)

Game of the decade base of a couple of gameplay videos? You're easy to please.

I just hope the voiced PC doesn't make me feel like it's just a BioWare wannabe. I'm sure I'll get two or three good play through's, but it's going to be nothing like the 20+ I get from other TES and FO games because they are all going to sound exactly the same and that's going to get old really fast.

However, since by far most of the population are visually minded and would have been prevented from replaying the other games, because they looked all exactly the same and thus got old really fast... Noone really cares.

I'm sure some modder will find a way to run the voice files through a filter to give you a couple of variations of the same recording. Or something like that.

Yeah I can always mod to make my PC's look differently, but when my Psycho Thrill Killer sounds exactly like my Benevolent Saint, things just aren't going to seem right. A mod to make the PC silent would be fine also.

well we know that one of the first mod made will be mute protagonist, if that option isnt on the game already.

If the game has subtitles and an option to turn off the 'cinematic' dialog shots as well, that would be nice.

Some people just want to make up crap to be miserable.....oh but the crappy originals were better or but you only saw a few videos and they're all lies, Bethesda is just lying and the game will totally not be anything like what we saw it is......or waaaah, voiced protagonists svck, I hate improvement, let's downgrade the graphics to the N64 level too, waaaah......really stupid stuff. At the absolute minimum Fallout 4 will be GOTY, at most there's no limit....could well end up being the game of the millennium although that spot will almost certainly be taken by the newest Fallout game made by Bethesda when the year turns from 2999 to 3000 and it looks pretty certain that there will be lots more Fallout games to come over the next 885 years.

In terms of GOTY, by the looks of it, a definitely yes. Whether a game becomes a GOTY in terms of quality or fandom, that's a whole different matter.

Decades not out yet, its too early to call. We've got fancy new consoles that allow Fallout 4 to beat out Skyrim and New Vegas IMO, but then ive not played the game yet.

Maybe TES VI will end up being my personal game of the decade, who knows. We've got 5 more years left to make our own decision.

I'm sure it's GOTY yet. Bloodborne is mine so far.

I think every game that is made gets a GOTY award or at least it feels that way. It is like those participation awards you got in school.

Agreed.

Personally, I think the ONLY games released this year that should even be nominated as GOTY candidates are Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, and Fallout 4.

^ "waaah"? Looks like someone likes to make up crap and whine about other peoples' preferences and opinions, just to be miserable themselves. Good job.

Anyway, WTF is game of the decade? That's actually an award? GOTY is a f'ing joke as it is, don't need to make up more meaningless awards to make game developers feel like gods. If GOTD exists, I have no doubt that it wouldn't go to Fallout 4. It's only 2015. There's more stuff on the horizon that will absolutely smash Fallout, like The Division next year, and who knows what we'll see released in a few years from now.

I believe Todd howard said you can watch it in first person mode in the e3 demo so no need to worry there.
