I'm just finishing up the first book in the Game of Thrones series and can't wait to role play as one of the characters.

For those of you who have read the Game of Thrones, which characters do you think would be best to play and what race would they be? Eddard Stark, Jaime Lannister, Jon Snow, Robb Stark, and Khal Drogo would all work great in Skyrim.

Isn't it confirmed that you can have a wolf as a companion?

If so Robb or Jon with their "direwolf" would be [censored]in awesome :celebration:

Well I haven't read the books but 99% of the characters in the HBO series (which I've been told holds pretty true to the books) are completely despicable...Even Sean Bean's character was a coward. I think probably his son that's leading the northern armies, or the dragon chick (sorry) are the only two cool ones. Or the dwarf, even though he's a jerk.

The son leading the army is Robb Stark and the dwarf is Tyrion Lannister and is my favorite character so far in the series. I would love to play him if Skyrim let you play as a midget.

Eddard Stark was NOT a coward. he falsely confessed to save his daughter. thats not cowardice, thats bravery of the highest calibre.

the dwarf tyrion lannister is not a jerk. hes probably my favourite character in the whole series (bar Arya Stark) his wit, humour and general awesomeness is just badass

dragon chick = Daenarys Targaryan, and idk what race she would fit... probably Altmer or something... but i cant see her in Skyrim...

son = Robb Stark, hed be a nord, light armour, 1 handed weapons, illusion so he can summon a wolf

characters i CAN see in Skyrim:

Jaime Lannister: Imperial Blademaster, light armour
Eddard Stark: Nord with a 2 handed enchanted (frost) blade named Ice, light armour
Loras Tyrell: Imperial master of blunt? (is that a skill anymore?, Loras used a morning star), heavy armour
Brienne of Tarth: (ugly)Nord woman, heavy armour, 1 hand/2 hand
Theon Greyjoy: dont know what race... hes neither nord nor imperial... possibly breton archery, light armour
the Mountain: heavy armour, 2h weapon, imperial most likely
the Hound: same as the Mountain

Heh... Kinda what George was aiming for when he made the book like that. This isn't LotR where the good guys win all the time because it's supposed to make you feel uplifted. Anyway, I've considering rolling a Northman for sometime, though I'd prefer to wait until some experienced modder creates some armor/weapons from the series.

Oh, forgot to add which character I'd most like to see. The Kingslayer of course, an Imperial in some of the flashiest armor in the game (preferably gilded).

I agree with all of these. Khal Drogo would be the obvious barbarian-type build, and Davos Seaworth would be a good rogue character. Not too sure what races they would be in Skyrim.

Arya would be my ideal stealth character, especially when
Playing as Bran would be interesting, if you hired a strong companion (Hodor) to protect you and only got involved in battles by summoning animals. It would be tough to pull off, though, since I don't think you can make your character a cripple. Unfortunately, since they are both children, you'd have to just make them into really young advlts.

I'm currently 3/4's the way through A Storm of Swords.



Anyway, here's to hoping the series continues to build in popularity since if it does, we'll almost definitely see some of the epic gear from the series by way of mods. I want that Kingsguard armor on my Nord, damn it!

Oh lol, ok. I'm just planning on making him super buff and giving him a long ponytail with http://i56.tinypic.com/2j16iih.jpg as well with a few facial scars. His major skills with be one-handed and light armor. I'll mostly play with dual swords or dual daggers.

Hmm... What about Roose Bolton? Nord with black long hair, light black leather armor and a longsword with the flayed man engraved on the pommel. Yeahhhh.

As to Theon's race, I'd say the culture of the Redguards would fit the Iron-men the most. Though, you would have to make him pale, obviously.

Oh, I just remembered the Dornish prince Oberyn Martell. Used a spear coated with poison and they called him the "Red Viper".
