game versions

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 11:39 am

I just bought Skyrim from Amazon.com last month. Took forever to be delivered. While i was waiting for the game, i was tracking the shipment and seen it was coming from the UK. I found this to be odd, but didn't sweat it.
When i installed it, Steam shows it as SKYRIM (UK).
Is there any difference in the UK version and the US version?

Also i can't get the wife off of the PC, she is addicted to this game. I will need to purchase another one for myself.
thanks for any info.

It's the same, the may be some spelling differences but i doubt there's anything game changing.

It's the same game, content wise as everywhere else. Just possibly minor spelling changes.

What is important is when picking patches or DLCs, to match the language. Also, in most places, once you have the game registered with Steam, you can download other language packs. Note, this will uninstall your current game and replace it, not give you two languages to play that you can switch between.

Note, Steam will keep things straight for you, at least it should.
