So i?ve been playing this game for a week now on my iPhone 5. everything went well until today... The game crashed mid-game and now it won?t launch anymore. I tried rebooting the phone, updating its OS, deleting a few apps to free up some space, nothing seems to work.

any help would be appreciated.

At this point, I would wait till Bethesda releases a patch.

You could delete the app, but then you would lose all of your progress.

well. if reinstalling the app is the way to fix this issue, then screw it. i have invested quite alot of time into the game just to lose everything. if it comes down to that, i′ll just delete the app for good.

Join the club. I am having the exact same problem as you described. iPhone5s +/- 5 days of play, over 25€'s invested and now I ca't even op the app. Yes, reinstall would work but that would mean starting over and say goodbye to my money invested.


I have requested Apple for a refund but so far, zilch. So I think I am in my right to complain all over these forums and warn people to steer clear from this app or at least strongly advise everyone not to buy lunchboxes.

svcks to hear this. i supposed that reinstalling the game would fix the issue, but screw that. if this game had cloud save, i would go for it. meanwhile i′ll just wait for a patch. thank god i didn′t buy any lunchboxes (but i have invested quite alot of time)...

Having the same issue of app crashing before it even loads. I thought it was because I had closed the app before it fully loaded, as that was the last thing I did before being unable to load, but it seems this is not an isolated issue. Fingers crossed for an update before my dwellers exploring the wasteland are all dead.

I have the same problem, crash when trying to load, have tried to close all apps without and restart without any luck. I'm running on a iPad3.

Also I have all of my best people and everyone acquired from lunchboxes out in the wasteland, which will now die in a few days.


This was my first and last F2P game I invested real money in, seeing how everything I spend is now lost, I really regret doing that.

I made another vault however it crashes also I'm angry and frustrated becouse im only a lvl 15 !!!!

Hardly had any game time on it ether I'm playing on iPad mini gem don't matter I have the game for its ether gem 1 2 or 3 ether or get compatibility cuz this is driving me crazy IOS 8.3

They got a lot of fixing to do

Mine worked up until 9 hours ago. I don't want to reinstall and lose my progress. Was enjoying the heck out of it too. Disappointed that they haven't sent a notice as to when it will be fixed.

I have had the same problem, except my game started crashing at launch about four or five days ago. I have an iPhone 6+, so I know it's not a compatibility issue. I hope they get a patch soon, because I was really enjoying the game and I don't want to reinstall it for fear it will just start to crash all over again.

yeah. i can't even get to the vault select screen, it crashes on the initial load.

I really like the game, but, damn, I've never experienced a game crashing so often. Now, it doesn't launch at all. Bethesda hasn't been very helpful at all. Oh, reboot and it will all be good?? Yeah, that did nothing. I am $25 in and genuinely enjoy the game but I'm at my wits end. I do feel a bit better knowing I'm not alone in this misery.

Praying for a patch, or, at least, an acknowledgement from a Bethesda tech.

They need to implement cloud saves so we can store backup saves easily

I started having the same crashing issue this morning. Before that, the game worked perfectly. I have also installed the update, but it didn't fix the crashing issue.
