Whenever I try to load my game it says I have DLC that is no longer available but I don't have any DLC then it says my storage device is no longer available and it takes me back to the main menu. This just happened to my second save a couple of minutes ago and also when I choose continue from the main menu my xbox freezes. Can anybody help me or knows how to fix this?

This is the most prolific bug on the 360 or any version of the game. 3 out of 5 threads on this forum are related to this issue. The more the merrier though, I want the developers to see how widespread this glitch is so it will remain their #1 priority for the next update.

If that doesn't help then there is no fix. Trying to make a new file will usually end in the same bug reappearing.

I read your thread and tried everything and still doesn't work. I installed the game to my hard drive and the disc has no scratches or anything so idk what to do and I rented the game and I only got until tomorrow then I have to return i.t

there is no solution to corrupted saved game bug... just load a older savegame and do not do the bugged quest.

you are lucky, you have just rented it, I have bought the collector edition for 125 $ (89,90 €) And I cannot play it too.

before you return the game please correct the cover, change the title from FALLOUT NEW VEGAS to BUGGOUT NEW VEGAS. thanks.

The solution I posted on my thread actually solved my 'corrupt' problem and I was able to continue on to beat the game on hardcoe. As for whether or not it helps everyone is clear that it doesn't. Very few fixes on here have helped every single person. Just as there is many variations of bugs there are as many variations to fixes and solutions. I'm sorry it didn't help you and as for the disc not having any scratches or smudges; the discs are fine, it's the software and not the hardware.

I don't think its the quest because I didn't even do the quest that bugged it on my first save.

It isn't the quest because I did a lot of the bugged quests. These specific glitches/bugs are caused near randomly. Some people have gotten lucky enough to have played through several times without major issues but that doesn't mean major issues can't just randomly appear for them from nowhere. It can happen, beware.
