Following completion of the reunion quest I went about my business but noticed when I started a new quest that I can no longer pull out any kind of weapon.

I can equip from pip boy but still cannot get the weapon out.

The only noticeable issue I had during the reunion mission was when I was leaving the facility after killing Kellog. I got into the lift which took a VERY long time to reach the top and somehow Nick Valentine glitched inside the lift but it would not let me complete dialogue with him.

When I got out of the lift he seemed to be walking back to diamond city and was a fair distance away (I could not catch up due to being over encumbered so I walked back to sanctuary, dropped my stuff off and fast travelled to diamond city, spoke to Nick and completed the mission and dialog.

I have loaded all recent previous saves but none seem to enable me to use weapons except on from pretty much release day!!

I reeeaaaallly don't want to have to start from scratch.

Exactly same here and since one week there is no answer by bethesda support, no help here nothing.

I want play, but i am not able to. And no, i will surely not start a new game.

I hope this will be fixed with upcoming patch but honestly i believe not! If you find something or I will - then please post it here.

I have the same issue.. Happened to me when leaving valentine detective agency to go to memory place.. Can not use any weapon or melee. Can use a stim pack. This problem is getting more common but i have stopped playing (about 5 days) as I can not progress. Hopefully as it seems to be happening more and being reported it will be patched.
