Keep in mind we have already seen several PC screenshots. Yes, it's not the same as video, but it does give some indication of Skyrim's visual performance on PC.
This mountain vista was rendered on a PC:

There could be more, but those three at least have obvious AA and texture improvements over the aged consoles performance ceilings. Realistically, PC Skyrim won't look dramatically better - the geometry will still be quite polygonal, and obviously no modern DX11 effects... It will just be smoother and less blurry. Oh, and performance wise will obviously be better - that is one thing that doesn't require speculation. Loading screens will be faster, and a mod will surface shortly to remove the walls into cities.
I am a PC gamer, I absolutely loathe consoles, and I certainly feel frustrated at how much Bethesda have given up on the PC community - the community that put them on the map. Nonetheless, I still can acknowledge this will be a good game, despite inheriting the disgusting hardware limitations of the inferior consoles version. Mods will allow us to remedy much of this, so I can keep my angst to a manageable level.
