No gameplay in E3. : V

Well This thread is here mainley to disscuss about that the puplic wont see gmeplay of skyrim at E3. You can post why/ think Beth wont put gameplay and what do you think.

Also If there is a thread like this then sorry.

No gameplay ... but we can expect a trailer or at least more info, so I'm ok with that...

Also, when they showed Oblivion behind closed doors back in that E3, how much time was it until the Demo Walkthrough was released to the public???

No gameplay? They released E3 gameplay for Oblivion in 2005, and for Fallout 3, why not Skyrim?

If I recall correctly, the E3 demo for Oblivion was also not public, but they did release the footage after.

Doesnt mean they cant make a quest for a demo if they wanted to, which i thought thats what the golden dragon claw thing was about.

if you go to the community page they have a count down till E3, the public may not be able the demo, but they still may show something to the public.

Not likely, its been confirmed (mostly by me and Dragon) but ion interviews with Pete and Todd, they both state, "were hoping to release something 'around' E3." And they also state that they will be closed off to the public. Only people that are invited can go into their booth.

So, what, do you actually think that they're not going to show( show the public that is...) anything during E3?

I'm not sure if it's actually official, that there isn't going to be any gameplay demonstration for Skyrim, but there won't be any Public demonstration at E3 (As was the case in Oblivion), but maybe a carefully constructed media walk-through. The reason is probably TES games are so complex, if you let every mouth-breather have at it, something will break eventually, generating undue negative press, that's my guess at least. Either that, or they don't want to spend time polishing a single quarantined area of the game to display to the public.

There's a huge difference between "here's a sequence of video captures that we think look cool!" And "here's some actual in game footage of how it looks to play the game!"

And Pete Hines hasn't confirmed that there will be no gameplay footage of Skyrim in E3.. it's behind the closed doors though.

It has never been confirmed that we will not get gameplay footage at or around E3, people need to stop stating it like it has. Like Pete has already said "Always tentative to say anything definite, but chances are good for "something."
Whether that "something" is gameplay or not is still unknown.

That's not an excuse. Many fans were looking forward to see a gameplay video at E3.
